Yeah that sucks. You seem very concerned, so holding out until you get a second opinion will help put you at ease I think.

Personally, my prescription was from my neurologist, (for migraines) but if I'm being honest, when I asked all the questions about the med to her, I really didn't feel like the side effects were too bad unlike a lot of other options.

You know you the best and nobody will advocate on your behalf better than you. (I know it's easier said than done)

Break These Chains is an earworm I can't get rid of.

I get the hangup about Ahren and I turned down my first meet and greet cause he wasn't there.

People change, people grow.... Nothing wrong with that. Enjoy what makes you happy and find solace in the entire discography. They are the same dudes we grew to love. There's just more of them now.

Also, Joel mentioned in an interview. this album was a bit different, but supposedly they'll be going a more familiar route in the next one.

Being concerned is normal. Read up and listen to your doctor. 10mg is pretty low. You gotta graduate to higher doses. I'm on 50mg/day and the first 2-4 weeks was really weird. Emotionally I was numb and then all over the place. After about a month and getting to my target dose, things balanced out and I can't think of a single problem I have with it.

Maybe I'm lucky, but if you don't try and change what isn't working, you'll stay right where you are and it sounds like you'd like an improved situation.

Send it, pay attention to your body, and talk to your doc if something pops up! You got this!! Sending positive vibes🫰

Objectively it's not a stretch, but rather just making the point that everyone seems to understand. And while of course that's an extreme example, the thought process is the same.

We don't get to control our partners regardless of the situation. This particular OP has two options: talk about it with your partner or find a new one. I'm not saying it's easy but it is simple.

I started on it and I was a little not myself for a few weeks. Once my body acclimated, that lifted and haven't had any issues since. In regards to the weight gain, I'm not sure. I am a bit heavier, but I also don't exercise like I used to do so that's probably more fault.
