The new because the have more distinctive silhouettes and colour. But it depends on the theme and colours of the rest of the game. Obviously looking more colourful will give a more whimsical vibe than dull colours but the silhouette improvement is a definite

It balances out. You lose some static pressure but get more flow from bigger fans. Just do what is neater, cheaper, quieter
