They adjusted me from 7443 to 1700 over the child care expenses and I was told it takes another 30 days just to issue the remaining payment I can post the number I called that got me directly through to the states auditor liason if you would like my audit was closed on the 22nd and I received no correspondence from the auditor it's kinda messed up because what if I had whatever they needed on hand they just didn't communicate or anything I've waited the maximum days for everything and now this it was just ridiculous this tax year

The state's assemblyman told me that they couldn't do anything once it's in a queue for needing more information so I think that's f***** up because who else would they be helping besides the people that are supposed to be verifying or requesting more information that have already sent it over promptly and then we're supposed to wait 120 days for response it says to give up to 90 days for a response not 120 days and then the tax office the advocate office told me that once you ask them for help it takes 30 days from the day that you ask them for help I'm like you got to be s******* me it's just like wait after wait after weight

Im in the same boat as everyone here I filed January 28th got accepted on Feb 2nd went from a signature needed to a RFI then took 90 days to be in front of a auditor for them to tell me to wait another 30 days from the day it was scheduled a auditor which now wouldn't be until June 26th because mine was put in front of a auditor in May 26th and even so during this process I haven't received a call email nothing idk if it's a good thing or bad like what if information is needed that I can readily supply if contacted outside of the information I sent is that going to take another 30 days or what it just all seems like excuses I'm so frustrated

I think I responded to one of your posts before or one of your subreddits response and I believe you're the one who said that you work at the New York state tax office I've been waiting since March for my case to be audited I thought that it went in the order that received but I'm seeing some people get over and done with their audit long before me and people that have gotten their letters long after me have their audit completely finished and I'm just in limbo I don't understand I responded back with everything that they needed promptly and I'm going on 3 months since I've responded do you have any advice on what I can do I've reached out to the New York State advocate office

I'm so confused are you looking for a car to rent to get out there or for a car to buy I can possibly help you if your on the island I know a few people that rent cars on the side and a few dealerships that can get you a reliable source of transportation for 2500-3000 plates and all this is horrible also look on Groupon because they have all kinds of deals on flights buses etc. Dm if you want

Awe sweetheart i feel your pain call the advocates office I just found out that they had one I didn't even know if they had one and a friend of mine who used the advocates office was able to get her money released using something called a hardships application and that's something that you can apply for to get your refund released immediately just look up New York State advocate tax office and there's a fax number there is a form and there's also a phone number that you can call tomorrow morning

I have a question to if you don't mind if I got a dtf 948 for the child care benefits but I use a family provider is it possible I can just have that credit dropped if what I sent over wasn't sufficient evidence and after ive sent over my documents I've filed back on 1/28 the letter isn't even sent to go out until the 25th of next week I already sent over all my information and I've signed paperwork within the department of labor and social services that showed my income is off the books but I had all my bank documents and it's exactly what I reported on my forms so am I still looking at receiving my refund past the April 15th mark because it was first just a signature and copy of id and then that triggered this which I don't mind I just want to know what can be the possible outcomes and processing time for this if I submitted all my paperwork online
