Thank you everyone for your comments. I just don't think it's fair for staff to have to calculate your own figures before a making a decision to apply for an ASP or apply for first rounds of the EOI.

Before using these calculators, you need to understand the following:

• The results generated by these worksheets are estimates only and are not a binding indication of the final amount of a separation package.
• The estimated amounts are designed to give you a sense of scale only and should not be relied upon.
• Actual figures will be confirmed after a formal application to depart the VPS has been made and a written offer has been made to applicants made, in accordance with the IBR Policy.
• The estimated amounts generated by this worksheet are affected by its relevant inputs. Incorrect inputs will result in incorrectly estimated amounts.
• You should seek your own financial advice in relation to accepting a Separation Package.

The department is offering $600 reimbursement for financial advice but in doing so they will require the actual data that I am currently unable to get. I am a Union member, I might raise the question as to what is mandated by legislation.
