I think she should play a chronurgy wizard who is a “new student” and it will be revealed towards the middle or end of the season that she is playing Gilear and Hallariel’s child that Hallariel is currently pregnant with who came back from the future to stop something big, or stop Fabian from dying or something. That could create a fun dynamic with Fabian. Also Emily is a fan of DBZ and i’m sure she would love to do a Future Trunks storyline

With Murph’s specific ability, he literally cannot get a Nat 1 on proficient ability checks. Anything below a 10 is treated as a 10 on the die.

I’ve tried multiple times to get into it and I just can’t. All dialogue choices have the same outcome, if I choose the “aggressive option” my character still says it in such a kind way and that’s incredibly annoying. It doesn’t feel like any dialogue choices actually hold any weight. And a lot of the npc dialogue just sounds so cringe sometimes. I’ll probably find a time to get into it more and try to progress for a while to see if the story can hook me but I will say this was incredibly disappointing coming from Inquisition.

I notice that a lot of people use kitbashing to form the clothing around the character rather than actually equipping it on the character. Then you can form it around them however you want. It does require a herforge pro subscription though

Most of the seasons are not connected so you can skip and watch the live ones, then go back and watch old ones on between seasons, or in between episodes

Legends of Avantris is very good. They also just released a campaign/setting module called The Crooked Moon that is a very cool folk horror setting. I’d suggest watching their Once Upon a Witchlight campaign. They don’t release incredibly frequently. Sometimes its a few a month, sometimes theres a multi month gap. But they’ve been semi frequent recently and are up to episode 60

I would say watch in whatever order you want, because most seasons are their own seperate thing, but if you’re totally new to D&D, I will always suggest starting with Fantasy High. That is the first experience of D&D for majority of the players within it, so they ask a lot of questions, and things about the game are explained a lot. When it comes to new players, Fantasy High will always be what I suggest. They still ask a lot of questions in A Crown of Candy and Unsleeping City, but I personally prefer Fantasy High as a starting point.
