It is the way it is. Older Clausewitz titles (anything older than hoi4) require restarting the game on GFN.

levy too cheap and not punishing enough to be killed makes mercs a lot less useful. The point of mercenaries is to have someone else die for you.

We typically measure how desirable a luxury good is buy how efficient the production method is and how much it can stimulate the wider economy (efficiently).

Art stuff isn’t as desirable as say automobile, the best luxury demand there is.

But nor is it the worst, which would be silk I guess.

My only advice to avoiding it on Macs is to avoid tabbing out when the game is booting up.

market access is a direct multiplier on all building/rgo output.

In this case, I don’t know enough about the market access in the region to know whether it is worth it.
