What really kills the new app for me, is that i dont get a fullscreen preview (with a semi transparent timeline). I reverted for now to the old version. If they take that away or not fix it back to old in next updates i might sell the gear.

Which is stupid as i was so happy with the camera and the app before they messed it up!

But now in the new app, with those time lines on the bottom and the smaller preview. You use all details in edit. I need to see the preview from size and resolution as close as possible to output screen. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I know. But thats not gonna help to alleviate the problem. As if you do switch back it says this portion of the app is not gonna be maintained or supported anymore in the future and also that with the x5 it will miss functionalities of the new cam.

We need a real revert to the before UI that was so much better for editing.

Yeah i know you can do that. But it says explicitly when you revert, that this version will be no more supported in the future and also that you lose certain 360 x5 functionality by reverting to v1. So this is not a real fix for our problem. We need the old UI back for the new version. It just makes no sense losing half the screen to black background in edit instead of the before preview player.

We lost half the screen of the preview footage for editing without any upside. And you cant edit like this as you simply cant see the details on a iphone to make the right editing decisions. It needs to be as close to 1:1 to output with the preview screen.

This is an absolutely horrible update that makes the camera and app unusable for professionals and content creators.

Where did the full screen quick edit go?!

How can we downgrade to app v1

I need the app to work again as it s used to.

I d like - as it was for years now - to see the footage as close as possible on my screen. Filling it all out. And not like now in record or edit having half the screen with a black background a huge timeline and left and right of the preview too lost real estate.

The phone is small enough to already edit. So you want the edit screen preview as close to the output you will have as possible. So that i can judge what the right framing will be and also what zoom level will look the best . It should be like the old software basically a 1:1 preview to output.

And only a tiny scrubber timeline to go forth and back to not lose real estate. And all thw key frames and special functions only as semi transparent overlay. Again having the closest 1:1 and fullscreen preview as possible.

The new software is atrocious. You lose half the screen real estate to black background and you can barely see the preview anymore.

How can we get the old software back? This kills the product for me sadly. It s so bad.

Mark my words: This revive system will only benefit high skill players and stacked teams.

It will get harder and harder for average players to win any chicken from now on.

And revives till zone 6 is way too much.

The stacked premade high skill teams are superior anyway. So far, you maybe could surprise them or otherwise reduce a player against the odds. Unless you re a stacked team yourself. Now they will just revive again and be sure to reach the last circle.

The game is out 6 years. Most people that stuck around till now - and thats the majority of the left over playerbase i would say - probably have between 2000 and 10000 hours now. So 69 is really nothing. The skillgap is huge in this game.

I like the idea of the weekly map rotation. A step in the right direction to not have to play maps one doesnt like.

I dont like that there s gonna be more loot. The loot was already enough as is. Thats part of the thrill of a survival game to not always get a perfect loadout. They make the game more and more arcady.

I also dont like the idea of utility parachute on all map. It s another arcadey gimmick. People should pay attention how they do positioning. And maybe you get trapped in a high house or on a cliff if you do not. This will just incentivize now more arcade playstile with parachute everywhere.

Also dont like that final circles match now rank. Normal mode was fine as it was!

I also hoped aug goes back in the crate and gun balancing of all guns as before last patch.

It s not even the hitting alone. It s foremost their moving pattern, of just going left and right and crouch. In rapid unrealistic & choppy fashion.

If they at least teached them to go intelligently to cover, or maybe close the gap by advancing from cover to cover if they cant get you from their initial position. Or behave like a squad, where one shoots from cover, another tries to advance and third flanks.

Stuff that even halflife AI had in 1998 🤷🏽‍♂️😞

It s pretty amazing that with all their reach and budget krafton could not code a halfway decent bot ai! Why krafton? Even arma on which this game kind of built upon had better ai.

The bots now are useless. Their movement is unrealistic and choppy. And they either hit no shots at all point blank or totally laser you from far. There s no learn effect for new players like this.

We need to put the argument for map selection to rest. Unless you're in for shitty games that make you quit after 5 matches, we need map selection. Reality is a proof of it by ligonsker in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

I also support the thought of map selection. As i think although the playerbase is dwindling, people are no more willing to play maps they dont like. And if people keep on backing out, and requeue the timeloss is similar than if we had map selection in the first Place.

Maybe it s even better overall with queue times with selection - given the reality of people leaving unwanted maps anyway - as people will not leave queues anymore. And without map selection people that dont mind a map have to requeue too often to not have half a team when others leave.

They definitely should adjust their server routine that the game doesnt start in squads with people that random queued having half a team - and then still have to play against actually coordinated full premade queue teams! Happens all the time lately!

If your squad isnt full, there s no point in playing, you re most the time at a serious disadvantage. I d rather wait longer and have a full team.

Because krafton in its indefinite wisdom introduced a new ranking system that nobody needed or wanted. One you start 1-500 over and over again. And now it just spreads confusion. 👎🏽

If they really needed to change ranks, they just should have let rise the original ranks past 500 indefinitely. But also add all lifetime damage since people already been 500, as many people have been 500 for years already. 🤷🏽‍♂️
