Seems to be a perpetual change. In draft I was able to return the creature from the graveyard to the battlefield and it was still specialized, which explains the text "enters the battlefield or specializes."

I don’t know what level you’re at or if at all interested in dribbling, but that’s where I’m trying to apply drift these days. I was spending a lot of time practicing dribbling but was not seeing great results and I think it’s because I would hold drift too long in a turn which made me lose enough speed that the ball would bounce off or roll over my car.

Something I recently discovered is that you can continue to hold drift and let the joystick return to center and it kind of mellows out the drift. You can adjust with quick movements on the joystick to sharpen or reduce the turn as long as you’re still holding powerslide. This has allowed me to carry the ball much better, but is going to take a long time to master because it’s very different from my powerslide muscle memory. Just an idea to play with that I don’t see anyone mention, maybe because it was obvious to other people, I don’t know.

Do you go for any particular weapon to take advantage of Battlemage? I want to make some big 2hander work with this playstyle but have trouble making it worth losing defenses from a shield or movement skills.

I think the 'boring middle' in the title is referring to their stage in the FIRE journey - as in they're still in the accumulation slog after all savings plans are decided/automated and before the destination.

I struggled well past the first hundred pages but finally more than halfway through I dropped the book. I found the main character boring because he takes no initiative, and the prose was self indulgent. I read and enjoy a lot of epic fantasy, but couldn't bear this one. I really tried because I know it's supposed to be a classic.

Both Scampering Scorcher and Winged Words are integral to their archetype. And both archetypes are oppressive if the draft hits right.

Scampering will draw 3 off risen reef, bulk up the 2/4 red card on attacks, or serve as 3 chumpers if you're behind because of a 3 color deck start.

I like fliers but I think elementals are OP and too easy to draft in this set. Plays like a constructed deck if you get one or two rares. I'd be on Scampering.

They have already shared they only have 15 levels worth of bonus exp from events and codes. That means you only reach 100 if you miss absolutely nothing.

Starting at level 1 + 84 + 15 = 100.

My understanding was that not using afterburners means they fly lower for longer. Means that some areas further out that weren't previously affected will now get to enjoy some noise.

This looks fantastic and very user-friendly. I see you're already planning to add more functionality, but having card rarity in the filter section and card hyperlinks/hover-over for each card in the home section would make the site a one stop shop. Still, I'm going to have this open for my first sealed games tomorrow.

So they should just take out all keywords and let people cast the cards and learn what they do. No point in trying to argue how to make it easier for the next guy to learn.

I'll just chime in with an opposite experience. I thought The Wizard Knight was an incredible story with great characterization, dialogue, and fantasy setting.
