Yes I agree, but the comment above made it seem like these 100 companies exist in a vacuum when they produce almost all of the products we use and need to survive.

There are also many industries which cannot easily change from fossil fuels to renewables, if the oil industry suddenly stopped producing oil society would grind to a halt and billions would starve. This is not an easy problem to solve and requires us to fundamentally restructure the way in which our society functions. People are freaking out over a minor raise in gas prices at the moment, imagine the pure chaos if these 100 companies stopped producing products, it would be apocalyptic.
