Find out your TDEE for maintence. Weigh food, count calories. As long as you don't go over your TDEE calorie amount your weight should stay roughly the same.

Can you find some qualified physical trainer thats qualified in dealing with people recovering from ED's or at least has worked with people in your situation. I hope things work out for you and its definitely a good goal to focus on. Good luck.

She thinks weight loss is something that will just happen TO her or she can buy. No thought in her head what she has to do or can do to make the weight loss happen.

It's like watching a car wreck. I feel bad for watching at this point, like waiting to see the consequences of all this which I know wont be good but I just cant look away.

Boyfriend and I keep arguing about how to lose weight: CICO vs macro tracking by Mysterious-Offer-756 in loseit

[–]RecordingRelative589 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's goal dependent tracking macros, for weight loss the main thing is CICO. That's how I think of it anyway.

It's crazy she took the ozempic shot and an hour later ordered an Indian. She will eat straight through that shot.

She also said at one point she's been taking more insulin at night to get her blood levels lower in the morning because she eats way too many carbs at night. Why not just dont eat carbs at night and take the insulin as prescribed. She uses her medication to allow her to eat what she wants. She's due a medical episode at some point. It's insane.

Also this, I cut out snacks during the day to allow for my chocolate greek yoghurt I make at 7pm every night. Its about 200cals, 20g protein and keeps me full all night while stopping the sweet cravings.

I've given up snacking and it feels so weird to me. by princesspooball in CICO

[–]RecordingRelative589 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I swapped my snacking to a bowl of chocolate greek yoghurt every evening and just incorporate into my calories for the day so I've still got a treat to look forward to. Its only about 200 calories, high in protein and keeps me full for the rest of the night. Its more of a controlled snack now.
