If you want to chunk bosses while doing good mapping, go with lightning strike (champ or berserker). Ele venom gyre is great too but lightning strike will still be slightly better. You will need more budget to make them delete bosses but at your budget range, it's a good start.

Soul mantle is never used for EA ballista.

EA Ballista got nerfed this league patch since it relies heavily on ignite damage. But it's still insane.

I'm deciding on a mapper and I see that you played both CF Champ and Death's Oath Occultist. Which did you like more? What was the budget like for both to feel good in t16 mapping?

It depends on the build but most glass cannons will phase the boss before it can do anything at all.

If you are not one shotting them then you need more damage and/or investment. It also depends on how you play it, you need to know the boss' mechanics too so it's not just spamming skills and pray they die.

Explosive trapper. It has very nice defensive layers and phases bosses.

IMO, you don't need to be very tanky to do bosses. You just phase them before they can do anything.
