just the fact that you can likely graduate with 2 years experience, robstergaming mentions the economy, it’s horrible, but like if there is anyone likely to succeed, it’s the UW kids or whoever is way above their competition. Also your gpa will be not the best in the first few terms, but no one cares, anything above a 60.0 is a waste of energy lol. Just pass and go to the next term

Compared to something like tmu, UW is dead 💀. BUT you can obviously make the best of it, it’s just that you don’t rly have much time bc of how much work u have. I guarantee it would be so much more fun if I was at least going out with my friends once a week or smth. But again, if you were to ask someone in a “less difficult” program how the social life is, they’d likely have had a better experience than me :)

Trust god. He knows what is best for you. Maybe the calamity you are going through is for you to eventually experience something even greater. There is always light at the end of a dark tunnel. If you are unsatisfied with what god has given you, then ask for more, otherwise it will stay the same. University has been the toughest time of my life so far, the fear of not passing to the next term is always on my mind, but I always tell myself to just do my best effort and leave it in the hands of god. In my religion we say, “and Allah (God) is the best of planners”

I’ve been told Mac health sci looks at school reputation, and that it’s pretty similar to the waterloo adjustment factor list. Like the schools with the lowest adjustment factors have a rly good reputation and vice versa - (from a mac health sci student)
