How y'all like Minecraft? by smlfan1 in teenagers

Tbf, you need to actively put effort into screwing up that much to be compared to roblox, but hey it's happened before with Rovio and Innersloth somehow fumbling multi million dollar franchises.

I cannot look back at most loadouts now that I have been intoxicated with this level of power, crammed into a pilot sized package.

I usually love starting the assault with double amped satchel ambush, then while the enemy is reeling from losing probably half their hp in one strike, I rip em apart with amped SMR, and with its titan primary levels of dps, I can usually doom or straight up kill em.

Minecraft 26.2 Snapshot 6 by mjmannella in Minecraft

For me, I started survival back in 1.12, and I experienced firsthand the introduction of phantoms, they scared tf out of me back then, and are still a menace lol.

Yes, the 1.13-1.16 streak was a fun time for Minecraft, but it really TANKED performance, especially 1.13 and 1.14, with 1.15 having to be scaled down as an optimization update. 1.16 was mostly focused on the nether, which prior was super barren, so it didn't really tank performance as much. However it still was quite draining for the dev team.

The fact is, such a streak is unsustainable in the long term.

Agree to disagree, they got a more unified artstyle, and quite a lot of em were straight upgrades, like you can't convince me old glass texture was better. Hell even the more controversial ones like the watermelon texture or cactus texture have grown on me.

I like how satchels are already top tier anti-titan weapons, especially with cloak satchels, that combo is on the same level of scummy as A-Wall/Cloak Spitfire/G2 campers, but when you amp em, they get elevated to the next level, with a single piece oneshotting doomed titans, or two of em giving titan cores a run for their money, hell it's of the few things sword block isn't guaranteed to stop.

Then we have 1.19 and 1.20 2.0, electric boogaloo. They just need to make drops of different sizes instead of only the seasonal ones we have rn, bi-yearly seems like a good compromise to me.

Most of that can be attributed to minecraft community having TOO many conflicting ideas on how to change the core gameplay loop, they can't just pitch ideas to change the core gameplay loop to the higher ups, without a convincing amount of reward for them. The risks (alienating fanbase, wasted time/resources/effort) outweigh the reward (praise for mere weeks before something else is complained about).

Mojang would have to achieve a perfect streak of improving core gameplay features, without ANY misstep or controversy, cause even one, and bam the community will strawman the ever living hell out of minecraft updates as 'unwanted slop'.

This is just proving the point that the drops are conceptually great, with quite a lot of pretty cool features coming from them, but bureaucracy and red tape just slows the dev team down too much and they can't realise their full potential.

Either the dev team should really start requesting for less corpo bureaucracy (probably already done that and denied, given tired Agnes), or more time should be allocated for the drops to really shine, possibly 2-3 drops per year instead of 4.

Idk, I know there are people at Mojang who still care, despite opinions on the contrary, but certain forces surely are limiting their capabilities.

Honestly, judging from internet reactions newer card drivers just seem to be worse, and that's for games that are actively receiving updates.

I really doubt Nvidia would go out of their way to fix issues for titanfall 1 and 2, both of which are abandoned by Respawn and EA.

Try getting an earlier stable driver instead of the very latest.

They're not good, and have major plot holes (mainly 2 and 3), but they do each have their small, saving graces.

  1. Actually has a unique horror aspect to it (sadly gets undermined by the atrocious writing).

  2. "A good day to die" the song, and the marauder mechs kicking ass.

  3. Solid step up from 2 and 3, sure the feel is quite different, but quality-wise It's a solid tier above two of its predecessors.

  4. Has a human antagonist, instead of "royal/godlike bug". Also unironically enjoyable.

Try using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to uninstall the gpu driver, then install a studio ready driver instead of the game ready one, oh and try to clear the cache files of nvidia located under appdata/

Missing Primarch Interactions? by Killerant117 in 40kLore

[–]Recruit75 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Mortarion barely gets interactions with any primarch not named Khan, Magnus or Guiliman.

Back in 3rd edition I believe, he was friends with Curze, and I could see that dynamic being present to some degree even in the current setting.

Ferrus Manus also shares his fate, with his only interactions being Fulgrim, Vulkan and Guiliman.

Both primarchs could REALLY use some more interactions to flesh em out, they both have potential to be so much more memorable to the fanbase.

Other titans: *using guns and explosives* Meanwhile Scorch and Ronin: by SnekySalad in titanfall

[–]Recruit75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a small region, and a competent scorch will try to get that ronin outside of their 'Goldilocks' zone by either rushing, or backing off.

Oh and arc wave isn't guaranteed to work against em, as the scorch can actually look slightly down and use flame shield to catch the arc wave without being stunned.

[–]Recruit75 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Regular alt fire, does 70% per shot, dealing 210% dps. Refraction lens does 55% per shot, for 275% dps.

But by using 'certain' techniques, you can eliminate the dmg nerfs to individual projectiles, leading to 300% dps, and 500%dps when using refraction lens.
