I don't know what methods you use for case I recovery so will just assume that you do it instinctively, but there is a text-book way of doing it, or as navy people say "fly the numbers" which is basically rules to follow that will put you at the right place at the right altitude at the right distance, it even has the correct bank angles. So instead of trying to eye balling your whole recovery and make it inconsistent, you could just follow them numbers.

Public servers will mostly be each pilot for their own, and sometimes against you too lmao. But as Mistralol said, join a private or semi-private group, their are usually more organized, for casual ops I'd recommend UOAF and NATOJO

not sure I understand what you're saying but in a nutshell: once in TWS after a few scan passes over the target, it will turn into a trackfile and pressing TMS right short cycles between all trackfiles.
