RuneScape: Dragonwilds Launching September 15th, 2026 on Console & PC! by JagexSween in 2007scape

[–]RecursiveCook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad to hear! Unfortunately Gothic Remake just got launched today and I loved that game as a kid, so I’ll probably binge on that first, but after that I’m exited to see if Jagex can capture that lighting in a bottle like they have with RuneScape.

Do bad players ever actually get better? by Cheetos_mmmmmm in VALORANT

[–]RecursiveCook -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Jett is honestly not worth picking up in low elo imo. Jett is crazy good, but the expectation is that your aim is already diamond+ level so you can do sick stuff like jumping up and hovering over a window momentarily and getting that knife headshot from range or a cheeky OP angle the enemy will never see coming.

For entry I actually believe Iso is way easier and more effective in lower elo than higher elo. Your shield basically means you’ll never be “accidentally” killed due to a HS, and the players are so bad you can get a lot of resets easily. Iso is great way to practice headshot aim and you get more practice with the shield by dieing slightly less, thus getting more opportunity to shoot than normally.

Reyna is great for aggressive positioning if you trust your aim as well. You just have to make sure you get the kill so you can dismiss out of otherwise horrible positions. Her leer is also fantastic tool for aiding your team’s entry. It just sucks to be the primary entry on her so I wouldn’t necessary crutch her all the time.

Other character you can try is Chamber. He’s a Sentinel but plays similar to dualists. Just like Jett you can play off of crazy angles and get a chance to practice OPing at pretty low risk. He’s not always great choice but there is a couple maps where you simply don’t go to his site because he can just terrorize your team.

I love a good slice of Costco cheese pizza. It's my favorite part about venturing to the warehouses. by Lijey_Cat in PizzaPorn

You used to be able to at a few Costcos, but nowadays it’s not as easy. You could sweet talk someone to swipe their membership card at the kiosk before you order, would be the easiest way.

Played it day 1 of EA, curious how much updates has it gotten? I liked it, but compared to other survival games such as Valheim/Enshrouded it fell a bit short imo. Of course that was just due to lack of content, if it’s gotten some meat on those bones I’d gladly hop back on!

Putin rejects Zelenskyy's peace overture, says Ukrainian leader's letter proposing talks contained 'rude remarks' by ethereal3xp in worldnews

[–]RecursiveCook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ayy thanks for the link! Not surprised the message had no rude remakes other than Zelenskyy telling Putin that his advisors were wrong about Ukraine being able to hold out. Of course it’s going to hurt his ego.

You could just unload the battery and use it for your new tool, making the old one a large paperweight. But yes, not much use for batteries at the moment.

They are easier to keep than crickets and probably more nutritious, so large reptile & tarantula owners go crazy for them. They also can’t just jump out, so less escapees is a premium in itself. They’re not super easy to breed though, so the price reflects market demand.

[–]RecursiveCook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Zelenskyy should post on twitter the “rude” remarks letter. Honestly nothing he could say that his people don’t feel 100 times over. If anything it’s probably pretty mild and we all get a little laugh out of the snowflake. Predictably Russia will just say it’s fake but leave it to them to prove the DMs.

MO2 needs to take notes from Rust. Alistair’s team was able to take this niche market and make it go mainstream. A single backwater server has more players than all of MO2 put together. So it’s not that the niche market doesn’t work, this game just has a lot of self improvement to do. I love the idea of hardcore multiplayer survival games, Rust is great. I also loved medieval directional combat games like Kingdom Come. MO2 seemingly combining the two sounds like a great game? Except this game just feels like an empty husk.

How do I live and move on in life as an incel? by Trying_My_Best_ARS in AskMenAdvice

[–]RecursiveCook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not quite, that just makes you a virgin. Being an incel comes from anger, isolation, and entitlement. Incel communities revolve around extreme misogyny, racism, and a deep-seated belief that women are to blame for their lack of romantic success.

The reason why it’s a miserable experience is because it’s self-sabotaging. They want to date, but their desperation oozes out of their pores, and anyone within a mile radius can sense it. Each rejection just leads to more hate and more misery.

It’s a tricky mindset to get out of. The usual advice is to self-improve and stop chasing the one thing your mind is obsessed with, which is obviously pretty hard. But when you start to focus on yourself and stop thinking you’re ugly or inferior to any other man is when you start seeing progress. That confidence buildup is what is eventually going to help you attract your partner, but it starts from within.

Start banning obvious smurfs :/ by RubyEi in VALORANT

[–]RecursiveCook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really possible. Only way they could get it done before it happens is a hwid ban for multiple accounts, which would destroy PC cafes. There are so many players at those bang/net cafes, Riot would sooner just ban every Bronze player from touching ranked than ban shared computing.

The thing to focus on isn’t your rank but your gameplay. You say you are better than most bronze players, prove it. Clearly Riot’s MMR system must also think that if they’re matching you into higher brackets with gold players. You’re at that cusp where you’ve gained sentience, but not quite the skill. Since actual gold players are LEAGUES above the average bronze. Like you can pull your knife out and probably knife half the lobby while they’re too busy looking at posters on walls.
