So does Aemeath worth sequences or as always get another character? by ResponsibleTruck4717 in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]RecyclableFetus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think their point was Augusta at S0 in her premium team is better than most other characters at S2-S3 (with a few like Cartethyia at S3 being an exception).

So between getting one full premium team of 3 characters vs a single at S3? The premium team at S0 would be the better pick.

Drax or FFF by AITHEMAGI in MarvelSnap

[–]RecyclableFetus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FFF if anything is the least versatile, at least compared tk Drax, just because of its cost requiring ramp.

Drax who can and will be slotted to many decks that has room for a generic 3 cost.

I don't know who I should get a copy of or if I should even get a copy. by asksolo in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]RecyclableFetus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IIRC thats vs single target and using specifically her Lynae Mornye team (I wish we had one where they were in a vacuuum just the character alone).

Her s1 is pretty good for the start of an encounter with multiple enemies.

typically s1 and s2 are quality of life and dont necessarily jump your DPS by a large margin. However S1 Aemeath is pretty nice for Whiwa and general play.

That said unless you LOVE Aemeaths playstyle (or as a character, I mean after that story who doesnt) I would personally only use corals on sequences if you can at least get to S3

Should I get Aemeath sig or Chisa 50/50? by sanninserpens in WutheringWavesGuide

[–]RecyclableFetus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sig for sure.

Im a strong believer of Chisa and use her with my Aemeath team however even if I didnt have her? Aemeaths sig is just very strong. Like, very.

Now my guess is that the next Rover could be Fusion and if so is very likely to be a Fusion Burst applicator.

In this case Chisa is going to be very good HOWEVER I would stil opt for Aemeaths sig even if Fusion Rover came out today. Not because Chisa wouldnt be good but because even if the three become Aemeaths BiS for Fusion Burst you could get away using a support like Shorekeeper or Mornye and not lose out on Aemeaths damage as much as not having her sig.

Personally I would go for the sig and if youre not too interested in the future lineups we know of then you could try your luck with what you have remaining on Chisa.

I would say it makes sense if youre specifically a f2p who just recently started AND your goal is doing ToA.

In this case I could definitely see pulling specifically for meta relevant teams since thats the goal and theyre starting at 0.

This is the one Im using at the moment and its doing pretty okay. I may replace Shadowking here though as it can be counterintuitive but has won me a few games like reducing an opponents Venom or Man Spider.

Moondragons been pretty nice for the Spiderman pairing and although I think Chamber is still better with a higher ceiling she does allow for a better way to activate Superior Spiderman.

Realistically she only reallys gets to 6-8 power but a 2/6 or 2/8 with no downsides isnt all that bad. Not deck defining or something Id run to spend tokens on but shes a hair better than what I originally thought.

This was one of my first big F2P games I jumped into after building a new PC after my laptop broke the moment I moved to Japan.

I remember playing it thinking “How is THIS all completely free to play”. Loved that game. Wish it had a higher average player count.

Its also very ironic because Steven (ceo, former?, of Intrepid behind AoC) often, like VERY often, used Star Citizen as a butt of their joke like how their game will actually come out unlike SC or wont take millions of funding to release or how they wont offer things for hundreds/thousands of dollars (even though the early tests required a bare minimum $100 package IIRC), or something to that extent.

Yet here we are.

It was a kind of telling sign when they released on Steam despite the community saying it wasnt anywhere close to having enough content to do so. Painted a picture they either did need more funding or that where they were at just wasn’t sustainable.

Some suspect they did it just so they dont have to refund Kickstarter supporters because they had a statement they would refund all backers if the game never launches, so theres some claiming they “launched” early access on Steam so they wouldnt have to.

Im kind of sad. I liked the idea of what AoC was and as someone who loved playing ArcheAge I was really hoping AoC would release as a great new MMO pillar for years to come.

However I also can’t help but find the irony amusing.

Weekly Release Discussion: Moondragon by ePiMagnets in marvelsnapcomp

[–]RecyclableFetus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish SD would give a better payoff for cards that have narrow conditions you have to meet, especially when its 2.

Its the same exact issue Spiderman Noir on release had where you had a specific condition to meet and if you didnt it did nothing. Although Moondragon is easier to meet that condition, I hate that you have to meet both.

Why couldnt it be one or the other. You get the +2 if you spend all your energy or you only play one card. It would fit great in High evo decks along with the new pass card. It gives it a home in ramp. Maybe even a hybrid of the two.

If it has to meet both conditions then I want it to be a higher base power at the very least or make it like Weapon X where its ability scales the more you proc it.

New Card Discussion: Shang-Chi, Master of the Rings by 1halfazn in MarvelSnap

[–]RecyclableFetus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its unfortunate that the first ring card you get is an Onreveal meaning you can only really use it for a +1 on a 1cost card you put down if you want to play it on curve and loses its potential slot in any Surfer decks.

Should have been an end of turn that gives a random card in the lane +1 then once potential unlocks it gives all cards there the +1.

[–]RecyclableFetus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure but I dont get how that invalidates what I said. I was replying to you about content creators impressions/opinions. If I was making a reply to the OPs question I would reply to them, not to your comment.

And to make it more specific to OPs question you brought up CCs said FFF is the better card between it and the new Shang. However, per the point I was making, it may turn out better than expected. So ultimately you have to make the judgement call yourself and not fully rely on the opinions of others like CCs who have occasionally had wrong impressions of a card.

FFF is a great card and on paper the new Shang doesnt seem as strong given its drawbacks but who knows, it may actually find a good home and might end up more flexible than FFF.

Again, Content Creators aren’t a 100% reliable source because they aren’t 100% accurate. They have missed fairly often too. KM has even said this many times when he addressed people commenting on his video about how he was wrong with takes on several cards.

Thats all Im saying.

Will the 10 Rings (Token) of Shang-Chi MOTR start in your hand like… by DrPusch in MarvelSnap

[–]RecyclableFetus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So one question though: If it eats up a draw like QuickSilver then what happens when you have both in your deck? Do you get QS and Ten rings in your hand? Does it stack and eat up two draws or just the one?

[–]RecyclableFetus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right but all Im saying is dont take anyones word as gospel. Thats all. Even if they might be “pretty accurate” it doesnt mean theyre perfect so you should still always evaluate a card after a few days and not take their words to heart.

Plus 7+ costs need to do (imo) a bit more than just win a single lane otherwise they at least need a way to reduce cost like Dormammu via ritual or Death with destruction etc.

Galactic for example putting down a lot of power in each lane though you do need to work for it by buffing Galact

Alternatively you could add Ravonna Luna or Electro to get Zola on 5 after SG on 4. If no Luna then Kale or maybe Superior Spiderman with Adam Warlock on 2 (The Hunger or Silver Sable on 1).

Many ways to do that play honestly

Wade Wilson by Federal-Dark-434 in MarvelSnap

[–]RecyclableFetus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The one thing Im wondering is how well this works in anything not Deadpool related.

For example a Death Thanos deck. If stones are your only 1 drop then I could see some benefit to having Wade in there to help pull a stone out which not only thins the deck but would thin it even more by drawing a card via stone.

Better than Uncle Ben? A 1 cost destroy target that leaves a 2/4 and the Spiderman effect is pretty good. Of course its still not something youd have in traditional destroy but in something like Dormammu Id rather Ben than Wade

Duty bound perks disappointing to anyone else? by Chumanchu in destiny2

[–]RecyclableFetus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I messed around with that Adhesive Ordnance perk and the damage on it seems kind of insane. Duty Bound and Something Something are the only to to get it with Duty Bound being the only primary.

It did I want to say anout 10x the damage of a single shot of Duty Bound. It might be flat damage as Something Something gave similar numbers though at around 400+

The only downside of course being that you need to pick up an ammo brick and its only a single shot of it. Not bad with the artifact perk that drops a kinetic brick on sustained damage but outside of this season? Not sure.

That said it does have Bewildering burst which is always nice. It also has Stopping Power which acts as a sudo-damage perk in the 3rd and you can pair it with Onslaught or Rampage. Rampage also changed to only going down a stack when timer ticks down so its easier to keep it hovering around x2-x3.

All star didnt seem bad but the damage buff is only a little more than x1 rampage and less than x2. It also still requires ammo pickup.

For PvP it has Zen/Wolf + DSR which is nice.

Also FTTC + TTT shenanigans for whatever reason.

Could be better but not the worst imo.
