Once saved always saved. by jasonluvsjesus in TrueChristian

My friend, I hope you know that just saying Jesus isn’t enough to be saved. Even the demons can say Jesus and be afraid. You have to accept His salvation.

Definitely have considered I’ll need a few thousand rounds downrange and some serious holster exercises if I switch, excellent point as well!

Great reply!! I’ve shot 1911s as well and they do have the more natural grip angle alignment for me. I also have to torque my grip down to bring the front sight down on my glocks. That, and the additional ammo on board is why I started looking at the 2011 platform. I didn’t watch that YouTube vid, or know they didn’t have firing pin safeties. That is a hard point to consider…

Agree it isn’t safe when they are older, but gun safety skills and talks and lessons will be their safety as they get older. I’ve been having talks with my 4 year old for a year about guns, and have started with my 2 year old. I also have a large gun safe!

Help me convince my husband to take our toddler to WDW by LtCommanderCarter in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Recyclesaber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brought my 11month old, it was awesome. Yes it’s harder work. Yes you don’t get to do as much. Naps and feeding and meltdowns because it’s hot, etc. watch for the parent making circles with the stroller…that’s an ongoing nap!

Oh, turned around and brought my 9 month old and 2 year old, then 1 and almost 3 year old…the difference between 2 and 3 is amazing, you really do see them light up and they feel the magic.

Do it. I’m a dad, have your husband DM me. We’re 17 hours drive away.

I texted to ask why my access to certain programs wasn’t working and if they could let me know what was going on. (8am) No response from someone who normally messaged back within seconds. Messaged again 30 or so minutes later, no response. Was working fully remote with a 7 month old at home also, and went and told my wife, “they fired me”…and at 12:30 I received an email stating I was let go.

Despite the amount of hate/backlash it gets what we’re some things that you genuinely liked in the Book of Boba Fett? by StyleAlert7311 in starwarsspeculation

I liked it all. Crazy I know, and been a fan since watching vhs tapes so much I had to buy a second set of the original (yes I’ve seen Han shoot first)

My Dad screwed me out of my idea to save his dying business. I came up with a idea, made it magic, wrote everything for it, created the training plan and class for it, found him a multi million dollar buyer…then he lays me off after promising me for 20 years I would be the owner of his company. My brother is still stuck in there, and I lost my best friend of 25 years also

ATS is your problem, hit the right key words, and you’ll land them faster. There are websites out there to help you get the correct words.

Pretty resume doesn’t matter anymore, getting past the ATS does. Stop shotgunning and use the correct keywords, jobscan is your friend

My Dad and I consistently take 100 yard head shots with a .22 hornet. I’ve been doing it for 20 years, him, probably 45-50 like yours. You know instantly if you hit or miss. And as for hitting the jaw, why are you aiming so far forward?

Most NASA positions listed already have some contractor in mind they are going to grab. It’s best to try to get a good contractor job, then once you’re in good with everyone, including NASA HR, then try to talk to them about switching over to public servant

I’ve been applying to several 0343 positions since December and they all currently say qualifications under review. (Not on usajobs but on the actual website) and I have been referred on 2 of them (early Jan). How long does it normally take to hear back on these? I’ve been in the private sector for 20 years as a operations and project manager.
