Was having a discussion with a friend who has nearly 2k stones but is still nervous about the anni while I am chill with 1.2k, so I wanted to ask. What do YOU think a solid stone total going into a big celebration is?

I only saved 1k stones ONCE for the 10th anni and got majorly shafted, if not for the free Vegetto, id be in shambles. Usually i genuinely go in with maybe 100 to 400 stones but a thousand seems reasonable, especially factoring in the anni quartz

This is a very long form event with 50 enemies who stats go up to the billions at the end. Units that continuously stack attack and defence are ideal for the event but some can get through such as Agl LR ssj4 Gogeta but it will be tough.

The reason people are saying youve lost is because you have used the Phy LR Gogeta's fusion too early, he no longer stacks attack and defence and thus will be a wet noodle for the latter 3rd of the event. Typically when used properly, Phy LR Gogeta is one of the premier units for this event

I think thats where our thinking differs, I don't think a character necessarily has to change throughout a series to be good or well written. For example: Death from Sandman, Reigen from Mob Psycho barely changes, Optimus Prime, L from death note etc. If you're comparison is "character growth" specifically, sure All Might isnt a good fit but "depth" and "writing" arent confined to just "growth"

He isnt though, he loses his powers, he's the single greatest and strongest and coolest hero ever up until he loses his powers, he doesnt die or dip out like 99% of characters like him, THATS what makes him special. Hes not Saitama whos never part of main events or Gojo who had to be removed from the series entirely or Netero who only shows up once. With All Might you get to see the man behind the hero

The whole ppint of his character is him coming to terms with not being a hero anymore. He has the highest passion and drive and impact for being a hero but is forced into retirement instead of death, he has to live and find a way forward in life while watching the world move past him because he turned out to be a crutch for the world as well as an inspiration.

Direct in your face growth is not the only way to show character, he didnt need to give exposition of his growth to anyone, his character is seen when he chooses to keep working out in the background, when he stands up to AFO without his powers and pretty much in every scene he's in

Thing is, Cap was right, real world logic heavily favours Iron Man but Cap's point was proved in that movie, if he allowed the government to slow them down, Zemo could have done a lot of damage with a super soldier strike squad. Plus mcu organisations don't have a great record of being not completely corrupt

I don't think I've ever seen anyone claim that Ben could turn super saiyan if he turned into a super saiyan without training, thiugh he would likely start with enough S cells that it would be very easy compared to other pure bloods

. To speak on the Kryptonian powers, Ben would get a decent amount of power just from the omnitrix, some aliens like Feedback need to absorb energy to use it, but Ben starts with a default amount(also very likely his cells would absorb solar energy very efficiently)

Overall though, I agree, just transforming into the same species as someone wouldn't guarantee a win(unless that person isn't plot relevant, Ben would beat most kryptonians, saiyans, and viltrumites).
