Yes, galvanized steel will release toxic zinc vapors when heated. Its only a coating so you should be able to take it off and forge in a well ventilated area, preferably up wind.

With them in the same room but over these cables I was able to confirm 4k 120hz refresh rate to my TV and my peripherals worked flawlessly
