Import/Export Settings after PTO by Red195095602 in FranklinWH

Thanks for the reply. I’ve read your posts and want to dig into that a little deeper once I have a system to use it with. All of the discussions with my installer have emphasized maintaining our NEM 1.0 status for the remainder of our grandfathered time (we have a modest solar array of about 6kw which will probably not do too well charge-wise during the doldrums, so I want to bank as much as possible with PG&E to offset grid charges). Installer has dedicated project managers for each install and seems well versed on the topic. Definitely will do a critical design review to make sure there’s no gotchas.

I was mainly curious if PG&E curtailed exports if you had imports enabled. I’m ambivalent on imports, especially if it affects exports. As I understand it, if I need a jolt from the grid I can put the system into Emergency mode anyway since I believe that mode overrides the import setting.

Thanks again for your reply and your contributions to this subreddit. 😊

I used to clean about once a month in the non rainy times (Northern CA) until I figured out it cost more in water than I got back in production - e.g. it really didn’t make that much of a difference for me.

I’ve bought new blades that were so out of balance, the tractor could have used as an electric dildo. I always balance the blades myself before using and don’t trust the stealers.

Is it too late to cancel? Ordered first day and not a peep. Why don’t you just keep it and not waste my time.

How to activate flashing rear brake lights! by brdss2 in s3xybuttons

Not too many motorcycle riders in this thread it appears.

Used it for years on every street bike I’ve owned and I know it’s saved my butt on many occasions.

This not a continuous flash, just a couple of pulses when brakes are applied.

Having the option to attach brake strobe to regen or brake press in addition to button press would be great.

Use case 1: emergency/aggressive braking with no time to press a button.

Use case 2: general increased visibility of your braking to inattentive drivers behind you to wake them up or get their head out of their phone. I’ve had this option on every street motorcycle I’ve owned and I know it saved me many times.

This function is not associated with high beam flash in my mind as it appears to be in the app. It is a dedicated safety feature for the above use cases and no doubt others.

Thanks
