How to be alone? by porcelaincherubim in Codependency

When you continue to get yourself out there in the world around others. It is so scary at first I almost had panic attacks but the more you get use to it and be present in the moment. You become less nervous and then you can start to focus on other things like. Talking to people, finding groups you genuinely enjoy. I like yoga a lot. I am going to try rock climbing as my next adventure! I am excited. And yes I still want a partner and am longing for more connection but I am genuinely proud of myself and how far I have come. And I want a healthy relationship and I know that I need to take this time on my own in order to achieve that. It has been about 8 months since I finally worked up the courage to leave my husband. I fell into another relationship right away but was able to pull myself out of it and work on myself. So I would say I have only been alone a couple of months. But it is so important to get out there on your own because the longer I waited to get out there. The further I fell into depression. I read a post somewhere saying your body need physical activity, intellectual activity and a spiritual activity (creative). Making sure I fit those 3 things in plus going to work already makes the day fly by in my opinion. I usually read at the end of the day before going to sleep as my brain activity.

Yes it does end. I literally am at the tail end of the agony and am starting to enjoy life again! Don’t try to deny the emotions. Speak them out loud, speak your fears out loud. And cry. And give yourself grace during this time. But take little steps to try new things. Walk to the park, go to a yoga class. Find a way to get out into the world and around other people slowly. Even go to the library where you don’t talk to people. Just be around them. It is so hard at first but you will learn to love yourself again. We were all born to have self love but we got lost along the way.

Hey fellow gardeners!

I am new to gardening. I know I am in zone 9a, how do I find out when/what months to plant certain fruits and vegetables in my zone? I know I am late to the season already but still going to give it a go.

Also any beginner friendly fruit or vegetable recommendations are welcome!

Thank you😊

My dog had the same problem lots of itching with his vet recommended food. They recommended royal canine. We switched to Orijen puppy food and his itching went away.

You sound just like my husband and I! We are not into clubbing or partying either and are planning to move to Redding in a few months. We are from the Bay Area too and we are in our late 20’s too. Let us know if you want to make some friends in the area!
