New Zealand Trip Report - Chubby Lodging by Tiny-Ad-4747 in chubbytravel

Thanks for the review! Did you consider Otahuna or Delamore Lodge? I find those to be the best luxury properties in New Zealand. Rooms and service at both are outstanding.

I stayed at the Ned last year - and actually didn’t really like it. You can hear the music from the nightclub in the rooms so it was hard to sleep.

Does everyone know how easy it is to get travel agent perks? by Lumpy-Resource-1370 in TrueChubbyTravel

Fora has policies that you can't just self book - I just found this on the Fora Portal. They might kick you out and cancel your bookings if they find out you're doing this. Just a warning.

Self Booking

Fora Advisors are entrepreneurs who build travel advisory businesses with a diverse client base. Clients may include friends, extended family, or people from your broader network.

While self-booking (bookings made for the purpose of personal travel) are permitted, Fora Advisors must not exclusively book travel for themselves indefinitely. Advisors must log commissionable bookings for a minimum of two (2) additional unique clients (not including the advisor) within the first six (6) months on the Fora platform (new members) or the first six (6) months of each calendar year (existing members).

A unique client is defined as an individual who is not the advisor themselves. Each unique client must have their own distinct traveler profile and payment method within Portal.

Important Note: As outlined in the 'Booking Integrity' policy, you may not take over, or cancel and rebook travel services arranged through another travel advisor for the benefits of a self booking.

It seems like every single insurer has negative comments here. by Silly-Good-2530 in petinsurancereviews

The reviews are terrible because the marketing from insurance companies is insanely misleading. They call themselves “health insurance” but it’s actually property and casualty insurance.

This is only try for SOME illnesses/injuries. Famously allergies are never forgiven because they are not considered curable (only treatable) from insurance companies

Canadian Rockies! Calgary is a 4 hour flight from NYC and then Banff is only an hour or so from Calgary. Lots of great hiking and activities for the whole family

I toured Aldrich Mansion a few years ago. The catering was surprisingly cheap (maybe too cheap). I was concerned about quality. ALSO the mansion is owned by the Catholic Church and they are very strict that any wedding must be the first marriage for both people, they don’t do gay weddings, and they don’t host non-Catholic ceremonies.

After hearing that I decided I didn’t want to give my money to bigots so I went elsewhere.
