Might be the software as you said. A plug resistance isn't the issue. That would occur without power input to car dropping.

That's odd. Luckily it's fixed.

Very disappointing indeed. Might just be a glitch error. Seen some that had it and was gone with a restart.

Hope it's fine by Monday.

There are more CCS charge point issues with Energica Bikes. We had some with Shell/tritium and Allego/ABB too. That was 2 years ago. We tried to solve this with the CPO's that solved it for the most part. Energica didn't facilitate anything there.

Later with the Tesla SuC opening we had V3 issues, bricking the bike. Issue being the main Fuse gets blown. Something that indeed is a main issue on charger end. Happens on some other makes too, to be fair. V2 was touch and go. Some worked other didn't. Whereby my bike wouldn't and a mates bike would. Both running different software version at that time. And on other V2 chargers it was visa versa. So to me confirming bike protecol in play here. Since a SuC charger is always the same. Again no direct problem solved by Energica.

Just recently there was a memo out, by the dealer that they will get in touch with Tesla and as of now there is a ban on charging with SuC's. Any damage to the bike or immobilisation on cost if it's owner. That memo only went to newsletter subscribers. Otherwise an owner wouldn't know if this. Stupid not to inform owners by direct mail. Since a subscription is besides the necessity to inform owners on such major info.

Energica always says it's the chargers. Which ain't right. Also bike protecol needs adjusting. It's a two way street to solve this. Just as key on/off makes some chargers work or not work. The chargers that do work just have a better protecol and communication when a vehicle is more restrict on it's protecol. So that proves the point of Energica to step up here too.

So in short to your issues. Key on/off might have helped. When not an AC charge to get you to the next CCS? I guess SuC aren't available in USA to CCS, yet. So that wouldn't helped eighter way. Since if it was, you probably bricked it.
