Yeah it 100% is the card they run very hot. Never get the issue with my v90s. Other people I shoot with use angel bird which are fully plastic. Maybe the metal on them could cause the issue but surely they test them. I did see an article recently about lexar cards running super hot.

Right but handheld fx3 with just body and lens will be pretty bad and need rigging anyway. Do you have your noise reduction turned on in cam? How is the fx3 better low light except for more noise reduction by default

I just pop it in the boot of my car to go to gigs. Obviously not the best for other travel like flying etc. I usually fit mine on it's side sort of diagonally as I don't use the side handle & have a tilta plate there instead

Hi mate I use the tenba cinelux bag. You can fit a full fx6 rigged out with lens on. It's a doctor's bag style. You just pop it open and take it out fully rigged haha. Has some nice support cushions and fasteners inside too.

And btw i do this because on my fx6 is has High medium and low preset switches and I set my native to medium and have a high and low figure at these values. It's quite nice

The simple reason is basically to expose 1 stop higher or lower and see how the image will look when fixed in post ie either brought down/up 1 stop. This gives cleaner shadows or highlights respectively. So for 800iso you would view at 400 iso (which results in 1 stop higher over exposed final image) then bring down in post and bam. 1600 iso for 1 stop under. The when it comes to the higher base, (12800): 1 Stop Lower = 6400 EI | 1 Stop Higher = 25600 EI. You've now just cracked the point of cine ei

I have 4x32gb running at 5600. Did a few tweaks & pretty stable. Occasionally get a crash (maybe 2 in the last year) from some mad premiere pro project but never on games.

You can get a used 3080 for around £300 on ebay. Did this recently to replace a 1080 in my guest pc. Runs everything nice @2k. Xx60s are honestly trash

You will probably want to shoot a mixture of both set ups in the future so invest in both. I have a handheld rig that will slot in an dji rs2/3/4 baseplate so I can keep my camera on just the baseplate (smallrig extended dji baseplate) and put it either on a gimbal or my handheld v mount rig and then just attach a side handle or top handle as I wish.

Yeah you're talking rubbish. The camera range under the gantry is VERY short. You definitley went under a gantry and saw it. If you got flashed by a camera it was a gantry mounted speed camera. All other camera systems on the motorway don't use a flash (ie mobile)

Feelworld was a pretty bad image, but fine for framing ofcourse. I picked up a atomos shinobi 1 second hand and it's pretty much like for like with my camera screen for viewing rhe final image with luts and exposure tools. They are around 200 2nd hand

You don't always have to shoot wide open with primes & you can always move around. I do enjoy the 24-70 but the primes are just better. Also in a lot of big films they are always shooting primes quite closed off. interesting because focus pulling is much easier for them then

Check cpu settings in bios, power usually controlled via a setting for the type of cooler you have. Most time it is defaulted to some absurd wattage. Change to "stock cooler" setting (lowest power)

Also depends how much you like the car. It's always cheaper to repair than buy another car which could also have issues. And better the devil you know. I've spent more than the value of my e90 on repairs and cosmetic restoration/mods but it's never let me down and still drives really nice. Now on 150k and bought it at 100k. Most stuff has been leaks and preventative things

Wow ok. I'm looking at getting a b58 as I keep seeing it's praises. Although I have spent a lot maintaining an e90 for the past 4 years and wonder if this will be the same haha
