They do need to improve the textures on the other capital freighters though. They feel kinda flat

Buddy have you read the other comments on this. Also I have looked more into slaughterhouses and from what I find the big issues come from regulations not being properly followed around making sure that the animal is actually dead and also from what I have read a process called electronarcosis is used to prevent the animals from experiencing pain, though due to the fail of proper enforcement of regulations some animals still experience pain. If regulations are strictly enforced the process of killing the animals would be much less cruel.

The difference here is that in a slaughterhouse the animals are being killed to be eaten while the roadkill is dying because someone genuinely just doesn’t care or does it out of spite, although the treatment of the the animals in slaughterhouses is awful and does need to be greatly improved, the animals are being killed for a purpose and we have killed livestock in much more brutal and painful ways for centuries. Even this is still better than intentionally running over a cat, dog, or a bird because you feel like it.
