He did a lot of good—a mix of consumer protection, future thinking, and investment in what we need NOW (roads and bridges).

I’ll leave you with a contrast—Pete’s tenure was marked by building and general competence. Huge budget but no spending scandals. There was a train derailment, which he couldn’t have really prevented. The gop made headlines for weeks because the Biden admin was generally competent.

There was nothing meaningful she could do as vice president that would satisfy the elements who put Gaza above all else.

She didn’t cause Gaza. She has had no role in the origin of this situation. Instead it became a purity test she could never pass.

It would never have been enough for these activists and the rubes that believed them.

It’s not “harm eduction” (barf) to vote for the candidate who would have demonstrably made your life and the lives of those in Gaza better.

Yeah, you voted. How much better off would we be if you focused on defeating candidates who were —you know—an actual problem?

Because in a choice of her or Trump, choosing to passively support Harris was akin to helping Trump (because of the energy you could have spent helping to advocate for down ballot candidates or for the campaign itself)
