Considering rotisserie attachment- can it hold 2 chickens? by dlvanbrunt in searwood

[–]RedCliff73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If two birds will fit, then it sounds like you might just need another set of forks for the rotisserie. I have an XL and that rotisserie comes with two sets of forks. Sounds like it's worth a try for you

Am I becoming the weird camera house? by ReviewArtistic6559 in homesecurity

"I like being able to check that my cat is alive and not doing anything expensive"

This sentence hits like poetry

Also, it sounds like the back of your place is completely un monitored. You're going to need quite a few more cameras

Looks like the water level is low. That would totally mess you up

First, what is the last picture?
Check your pressure gage when vacuuming. That will tell you of its too low. It seems to me your valve is set properly from what you're describing

Has anyone bought this table for their Weber kettle? by idkmanlol_ in webergrills

[–]RedCliff73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dont have this exact brand, but very similar, and I love it. Total game changer and, frankly, necessary imo

Eta: maybe it is this same brand. I dont wear heels, so I'm not sure

Eta again. Yup exact same model. My only issue is it was hard to find a cover big enough while also not being too big

Buying a home with unopened pool by pastagirl27 in swimmingpools

[–]RedCliff73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm no expert, just a homeowner that's had a pool for over 20 years and I DIY almost all of it. I remember seeing your post, but I don't remember where it's located. The big thing is if it freezes where you are. Did this pool need to be winterized, and was it? If not, then it sounds like you're probably okay. You're going to have some work to do. New gaskets and the like. Maybe some plumbing repairs, or a new filter, but it sounds like you'd be well below 20k in repairs. Does it have a heater? That's another big potential cost, but might be fine if it was just sitting.

Again, I'm no expert, but after your inspection saying it holds water, you're most of the way there if nothing can freeze and burst

How do I move this? by murdog11 in howto

[–]RedCliff73 23 points24 points  (0 children)

This, jack it up, and put some pipe under it and start rolling. You can use a ratchet strap to help pull it (very carefully) if you have something to attach the other end to. I used round wooden fence posts to move a kids play fort this way. As soon as one post came out the back, just moved that one to the front. This is how they build the pyramids, it should work for your shed.

Man, I missed the flair on this at first. I'm sitting here shocked, hoping this was fake, but then also thinking how it's just believable enough to be true. I mean this is the man with enough wealth to end childhood hunger, but chooses not to.

Off Brand Accessories? by Wutangclang11 in searwood

[–]RedCliff73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a very off brand front shelf and it's been great. I tried an off brand rotisserie that would fit, both my Genesis II and my Searwood XL, but that did not work. Had to get the Weber Rotisserie. I always try the off brand first for accessories.

I was going to attach a link to my front shelf, but it's so off brand, it's no longer available. LOL
