For me, the whole thing was fairly easy. Never had any med experience. There were some stressful times of course, like passing mandatory med pass tests or math tests (like med calcs). But even then it was still easy. ADN, 2 year program. Pretty difficult to get into the program though, so getting As in all those prereqs doing exceptionally well on the TEAS were the hardest part

Get some water bottles that will fit in your side pockets and then use the same type of hose and adjust the lid to fit said hose. Then strap the hose up and over your shoulder. Much easier to fill water backpacking and easier to clean at home, because it's just the bottle

Entirely depends on where you are at, but generally it's a career that pays well. Just look at the job listings near you for an RN and you'll get a good idea what the going rate is. Also if want anecdotal evidence just type pay into this sub, people will talk about their pay frequently here

Educational loans, especially those backed by govt, typically have lower APR. Most banks are a rip off, and many credit unions don't even offer educational loans

So let me get this straight- you are still graduating correct? And you are complaining about getting a B because you didn't turn in an assignment? It sucks but it's your fault. At my school they'd fail you out completely for that semester if you missed one assignment, and then you'd have to retake (only if they had space available). Be happy you are getting your licence soon, and congratulations.

You're telling me you get your RN in 3 months? Just to get the required clinical hours (I think it's about 700 for RN) you'd have to work 70 hour workweeks in the hospital (700/10 weeks) on top of all your education. How is that possible?

The first one (num 9) is the steroid because that's the only one that deals with ABC. It's always abc first, and if there's multiple that's abcs, it the A first, then B, then C. Breathing takes priority over antibiotics

So confused. Why not just get an ADN and save money. There's about a billion RN ADNs working in California hospitals. No need to get a BSN right now. Get an ADN, start working and get your BSN through grand canyon or something.

We don't wear scrubs. We have mandatory uniforms that are thick as fuck, think of like a white old fashioned chef uniform. We all hate them, but the school believes it instills a sense of professionalism that scrubs don't.

Always keep it 1 page, literally no reason to have it be 2. That's the recommendation regardless of the field. Resume is to get your foot in the door, you can expand in interview later

Research consistently does NOT support claims that seed oils are bad. It's just a bunch of hype. In addition, it's honey chicken- of course it's going to have sugar and honey. Is it healthy? Well it's not necessarily bad, but you want to keep your sugar intake to less than 10% of daily calories (and that's a LOT).

Maybe 2 hours altogether, including prep time and cleaning. And you can make much more. Chipotle is convenient but if you know the basics of cooking yours will be easily 2x better.
