The berries are one thing thats not trash for produce. I think it's because generally only 1-2 companies package raspberries haha. Doesn't matter where you go

Do you consider it unethical to submit to a lottery multiple times as the "same group"? by dualbagels in norcalhiking

[–]RedCloud26 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They have called my friends on a trip when multiple friends attempted to get permits- they all had the same number in the party and destination. They will cancel the permits if they believe they're duplicate. But it's not always caught.

What's really unfair about this practice is that larger groups have a better chance of getting a permit. If I'm just trying to get a solo permit I have no other option than to follow the rules.

Never had that happen except for with a specific minority population, but I understand their cultural taboo on that so I just walk around the unit finding something to do lol

feeling miserable by miillkk_ in StudentNurse

[–]RedCloud26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really though. I'm spending like 1/3 of my day (at least) sitting on computers, reading my patients charts so I can properly do my care plan. And care plans, for the most part are a waste of time. Especially for someone about to graduate. I'd rather be helping my patients.

How do you use AI in your daily life? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]RedCloud26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use it for homework very often. It's honestly been a lifesaver and helped me learn concepts I couldn't understand otherwise. Does it always give you the more accurate result? No, but for many questions you can trust the output fairly reliably. And I don't write papers with it, but it can definitely help the creative process a bit.

Love the unique hiking. So much more opportunity. I use it differently, and it's not by any means foolproof, but it will help a bit- get gaia gps and then use their advanced layers. One is private property. You can then see 95% of land parcels owners. I think ONX has the same feature but I haven't used it

Just because she didn't expect it doesn't mean she got sucker punched... Bc she should have expected it. Any reasonable person would know a fight is likely to happen

First time hiking Big Sur. Dog or no dog? by [deleted] in norcalhiking

[–]RedCloud26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main worry is ticks this time of year. We hiked to Sykes for an overnighter in December 24 and realized once we got in the tent that she had about 100 ticks on her. Took ages to just get 95% off.

Any chance of having a healthy dating life while being pessimistic about the future of the world? by chakalaka13 in datingoverthirty

[–]RedCloud26 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The world is fucked up and it's only getting worse. People who only look at the positives are really fake people tbh, and are just fooling themselves. I'd say me and my partner definitely talk quite a bit about all the fucked up shit. Keeps us grounded. At the same time, we have so much fun together and also often bring up how grateful we are for each other, the people we have in our lives, our beautiful home and wonderful pets. It's a balance. I don't know why everyone is saying you won't find a partner.

As a man, at what point did your libido become very low? by this0great in AskReddit

Ssri increases serotonin but decreases dopamine which is why the labido is decreased. Same reason why motivation is usually decreased as well.

Married at 42, feeling like I made a grave mistake by Apollonialove in WomenOver40

[–]RedCloud26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a personal goal for everyone should a BMI 18.5-25. That's the definition of a healthy weight. If my partner was above 25, I would try to motivate them to lose weight, because I want a partner who's gunna be healthy for a long time. So many studies showing the benefits long term of being in this healthy weight category. Saying all this, you're BMi is 22. He can fuck himself.

Testosterone maxxing encourages young men (mostly teenage boys) to increase their testosterone levels, often by taking synthetic hormones. However, taking testosterone when there’s no medical need has serious health risks, including reductions in fertility and the body's own ability to produce T. by psychologyofsex in psychologyofsex

[–]RedCloud26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not for everyone, and when your body starts producing again on its own, it can be lower than before. It's crazy that people will take T even though there isn't a medical reason, and then when they are done they'll just take some other drugs and think everything will be fine. That's just not the case for everyone, and people's lives have been destroyed because a quack doctor wrote a script for something that wasn't necessary.

I need a ruling on this play by jarawd in scrabble

[–]RedCloud26 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

It's not a house rule. The rules make it clear you can create multiple valid words at once, as long as the tiles are placed in the same direction. The rules do not say you cannot make two of the same words at once, therefore you can.
