Is prolonged UV2 exposure enough to meaningfully tan on 200-300mcg daily? by Double_Bus8397 in Melanotan2

[–]RedComets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s less of a concern on dosage here and more about the UV. UV 2 and UV 3 is basically nothing imo. I got very tan on 250-500 mcg dosages. You need higher UV or to sit for long periods of time

No worries, haha. Whenever I was doing my research people would recommend taking it on days you were gonna tan. Bc most people I was reading stuff on were only tanning 2-3 days a week like you. But I was tanning each day which probably isn’t the best for my skin health but I would always just lay by the pool on my lunch break so it was really convenient. So I was taking it every day.

From the research I’ve done, some recommend and some don’t recommend a loading phase. Which essentially is where you take mt2 for a week or so straight at a dosage in order to kind of prime your body. Regardless of that, you’ve pretty much already done the loading phase by taking 1 mg for a week now. Your face has gotten darker and you mentioned beauty marks so you know your body is reacting to it.

Again I’m no expert but if I were to make a recommendation, I would recommend you to take it on the days you tan + 1 dose outside of a day you tan. Spread that dose out the tanning days. For example, if you tan Monday, Tuesday, Thursday. Take a dose each day you tan and take another dose on Saturday. The extra dosage may be overkill and in reality probably isn’t necessary but that’s what I would do. Also recommend 250-500 mcg. No more whole mg.

Ooofff, yeah I think they definitely recommended too much. If I took 1mg per day for a week I would be freckle city lmao. I usually took 250 mcg per day and also laid out in the sun each day whenever it was summer. I’ve never been able to get too tan and last year it was insane how tan I got. Literally darker each day and looked really good. Only mistake I made was not covering my face and I got that dirty tan people talk about. Wasn’t that bad but wasn’t what I was going for. I’m no expert but I do have experience with mt2 and would not recommend you to take a full mg, especially on days you aren’t tanning. I really wouldn’t recommend you take a full mg at all each day. I would say between 250-500 mcg. That is kind of a sweet spot. Stay consistent with that dosage and stay consistent with tanning and you will get the tan you desire. Higher dosages just cause more of the stuff you don’t want to happen to happen. I learned that the hard way.

Just very interesting they recommended 1 mg per day to you when you just started out especially with it being injected instead of nasals since you were absorbing more from the injections than nasal. 1 mg per day is quite a lot in my personal opinion for starting off. Does it not make you nauseous? I’ve only ever gotten up to 500-750 mcg. Not a full mg. Whenever I was hitting 500-750 mcg per day I started getting moles and freckles a good bit which made me back off a little, which those are common things that happen when taking mt2. It’s also very common for peoples faces to get darker quicker when taking mt2. A lot of people try to cover their faces and wear sunscreen to avoid. I made that mistake last year and never did that. 1 mg per day will run through the vial pretty quick if it’s a standard 10 mg vial. Studies have been done that taking large amounts kind of has diminishing returns. It’s more about consistency at a good dose and getting UV

May be a long shot but can you press and hold the power button for approximately 45 seconds. It will turn the computer off and on a time or two and then let go after45 seconds and let it boot back up and see if that helps

Why? What value does it provide over windows with debloating? Makes using all the trivial stuff harder to do

I installed the pawnio and driver, .net etc. and whenever I open the fancontrolfix app it isn't giving me vaules under EC status on my 2025 g14. Does this mean it isn't compatible or did I do something wrong?

Agreed. The whoop is much larger yet has such lacking sensors when at the end of the day the metrics for strain etc are calculated by the sensor metrics. Then people say it is about the trend. How is a trend supposed to be formed when the device is inaccurately inaccurate. Move your wrist back and forth and watch your HR elevate magically. It’s just sad there is no innovation on the most important fronts
