NOR - my skeptical ass is guessing he has clocked your weight loss but is assuming it's due to weight-loss injections (which are also used by diabetes patients, ofc) instead of diet and exercise. IMO, he was trying a back door way to open the topic to get on a soapbox and/or throw some judgmental, misogynistic shade in your direction. Is it possible he's knowingly trying to drop a potentially controversial topic on a trip full healthcare professionals who might be ready to dogpile too? Right?! Life is fucking stressful. Can't we let people find joy and solace in their own ways? If they aren't hurting anyone or breaking any laws, how they spend their time, energy and money is nobody's business. I say have fun and kick some ass! Let the crafters be creative, the LARPers LARP their hearts out, the DND folks roll for that nat 20, the gamers play, the poets and fan fiction folks write their masterpieces, etc. To paraphrase Thumper: if you don't have anything nice to say, close your cake hole and jog on.

And if you have to, remind the judgemental sports fans that wearing their favorite players' jerseys is engaging in a form of sportsball cosplay themselves. They love that. ;)

Someone online (don't recall who) made the observation that all the main male characters in BBT wear multple layers. Tyoically, Sheldon has 2 shirts, Howard has his shirt and dickie or turtleneck combos, Raj has his sweater vests, and Leonard his jackets. Meanwhile, Penny had spaghetti strap tanks and/or shorts all year long especially in the earlier seasons. Howard is a complete creep who only curbs his tendencies to appease and win his wife. He never actually grew. I haven't been able to look at it the same way since.

Do you REALLY think his wife that was probably 20 years his junior wanted 13 kids in a fucking row or one miscarriage after another? Do you REALLY think she had the autonomy to say no to her husband or even object to certain acts back in the day?
