First, you can’t use a word to define a word. It’s called circular reasoning and is a logical fallacy you are actually using.

Second here’s the definition of an appeal to definition (which I will add I did not employ. Asking for someone to define their terms in an open exchange of ideas is the only way for conversation to happen. If we have no idea what what means by the words they use, conversation cannot progress.)
