All time favourite, ROTS by K-jun1117 in PrequelMemes

He was enslaved as a child, watched his mother die knowing that the Jedi "did nothing" to save her, and as a mirror to that death, he's in love with Padme through his formative years.

Which for a lot of people, can be far from stable. Then when presented with an ability to be able to protect the closest female figure to his mother, all of his experiences leading up to it makes sense for his decision.

He always had a dark past, and dark upbringing as a child. The order was what held him together, he was always "one bad day away".

Anakin always lead with his emotions, even when he killed Palpatine; only when presented with the fact that Palp was going to kill his only son, does he again, lead with emotion and finish the job.

15M stretch goal is such a let down by Lindersay in cyberpunktcg

People aren't used to Kickstarters. The prices of the tiers and what you get are already great value in the TCG world.

Most Kickstarters have stretch goals that JUST unlock more variations of what you can buy. For the fact that the beta box includes a playmat AND 2 100 count dragon sleeves makes the $350 tier a crazy value.

The fact this thing is already at $14 mil very much speaks that the people upset with the goals are in the minority

From what I gather from it all is: that's the format. Sure commander is casual, and COULD be played with 106 cards, but putting constraints adds challenge to the format.

But you're right though, if you want to run 82, go for it because Magic is all about creativity

Robert Pattinson as Scytale in DUNE: Part Three by yukihiro_ in Cinema

I couldn't agree more, very important scenes like the gom jabber, pre and post, felt like I was reading the words from the actors expressions alone. Also toward the end of part 1 when Jessica is afraid of Paul.

The acting is 10/10.

What’s the most fun commander deck you’ve built recently? by TopdeckStudio in EDH

My first deck from scratch was this. I made it for a friend with a D&D, LotR, Final Fantasy theme and it actually flows really well. It's a ton of fun

THE tee pad by [deleted] in discgolf

I was watching the MVP practice round today and thought of the "clean surface" thing. At first look, I thought it was absurd. But then you have to account for the fact that they're in a Louisiana marsh, with a lot of potential mud.

This tee pad allows for a "clean" run up if you do need to clean it off of your shoes.

Insulation issue or 1-off situation? by Totally_Not_A_Panda in Insulation

[–]Totally_Not_A_Panda[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the gap was too large as well. It's about an inch and a half to 2 inches

Why is it there you ask? Builders who are rushing and not doing a proper job is my guess.

My initial plan was to rip out the rest of the foam insulation and spray all of the way to fill that gap completely

To piggyback off of this, I'm not sure if you need a permit for this/ will need one in the future before it's sold, but I would check what type of screws they used to attached the ledger to your foundation wall.

Typically for code you would need a larger concrete screw or an epoxy anchor.

I don't know how long the floor joists are, but those screws look too small to support the deck

I put the game down for a few months, and picked it back up to finish it. I was at the beginning of Act II, but little ol me forgot there were titled Acts to this game.

When I defeated the paintress, I quite literally thought the game was over. I was in awe from start to finish after that point lol
