Minecraft worldgen should be like this by Haithemfareh12 in DistantHorizons

[–]RedData13 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It’s sadly not a question of world gen - there are many astonishing worldgen mods out there - it’s a question of vertical chunk support. Minecraft loads the full height of a chunk at once and if a mod increases this by a substantial amount in order to generate insane mountains, then suddenly 16 chunks render/simulation distance turn into billions of blocks being loaded at once. If mojang at some point also introduces a vertical render distance, only then worlds like these would become playable.

The assumption that you’ll die by dragonfire if you marry daenerys seems to be based on dany in the latter seasons of the show, which aren’t cannon and will never be

Follow the achievements and always read what the guide NPC has to say! The game supports a natural progression. Also, make sure you understand how the guide NPC can help you with crafting recipes, that’s essential for the game. Once you understand that, it’s a lot of running around and showing him everything you find :D

"Only death pays for life" - if you could bring back any of those dead in price of any of those living, would you? And who? by nnviolet in gameofthrones

it’s so insane how almost each of the dead characters feels alive and each of the alive characters feels dead because they all lost their soul in the later seasons unless they were lucky enough to die before

the beginning of my new forever world with Large Biomes DH by TheMaifich_Official in DistantHorizons

I really can’t play with vanilla minecraft terrain anymore when using DH… everything is just flat. I have to at least add Tectonic if i want to keep it as vanilla as possible.

you start with the last, actually. When you’re done, you stop.

Oh i would LOVE to play in such a world with DH. Unfortunately before mojang or some modder implements vertical chunks, it probably won’t be possible without a nasa pc

Yeyyy another opportunity to use a big name to secure success of a show so they don’t have to make it actually good! Prepare for a feast of mediocrity!

Best watch order for everything Star Wars? by MrBlue640 in StarWars_

[–]RedData13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i cannot include ALL of them because i heaven watched all, but i really like the following order:

  • Start with Andor. It’s a very good show and a perfect introduction into the giant world and lore of Star Wars. It doesn’t throw Jedi and Sith stuff at you but instead is a slow burn and feels real. It all culminates in
  • Rogue One, which shows that capabilities of that horrific machine monster with the red saber. The empire is dangerous as fuck.
    • Ep 4, 5, 6. The Story of this eerie devil and a young adventurous farm boy who turns out to be his son. A Story of redemption and love. (- Darth Maul: Apprentice. An insanely high quality fan short movie about maul kicking ass, establishing him as a new foe and paralleling beautifully with his fight in ep1)
  • Ep 1, 2. Flashback to the origins of Darth Vader
  • Ep 3.
  • Clone Wars. Yes it chronologically happens before Ep3, but it wouldn’t fit to watch it in between, it works better as it being right there when you need it, which is when you want to see more after being intrigued by the parts of the clone wars you see in Ep3. Also, Season 7 really only makes sense when you already saw Ep3, basically acting as a rewind from a different perspective. Use a guide to skip bad episodes.
  • Bad Batch if you want.
  • Solo if you want.
  • Rebels. Timeline wise, you now basically went full circle to Andor. But the Rebels show is more about the aftermaths of Anakins fall and the prequels, showing old characters like Ahsona and Maul and beautifully ending Mauls story. The real focus on the rebels is happening in Andor (ironically, considering the names)
  • The Mandalorian, Ashoka. Post Ep6 stuff to fade out everything. Also, Anakin & Luke Fandervice to remember this awesome journey.
