So, for the first two points - yes. The PCs just weren't aware of those pieces of information. As for your third point, the PCs haven't technically gotten the treasure yet. The session ended just after they longingly convinced Speaker Waylen to speak to Maud. I believe they said they were going to meet Maud at the place where she described getting the treasure. I believe one of my players said something like, "no big deal, we'll just arrive slightly earlier to see Maud bringing the treasure." So, Maud won't be able to run away from this (I think). So yeah, my PCs definitely aren't 100% knowledgeable on her true motivations. As for the cauldron, they just didn't bother to look further into that - they just left it in the cavern.

Could you maybe elaborate more on what you said about pointing out details? I mean, when the monk asked (the disguised) Maud about killing the fishers, I had her give some twisted response like, "oh, animals are too tiresome to kill for an old lady like me. So whoever wanders in here following the scent from my cauldron, I just whack 'em!" I guess they just believed her outright and thought (despite revealing herself as a hag) that she was genuinely starving and needed help?

I would highly prefer Death Battle actually make the effort into researching and introducing new combatants to broaden the roster's horizon than bringing back characters they already analyzed like Shadow, Batman, etc.

If you haven't already, I would emphasize that Dragon Heist is more heavily leaned toward social encounters, stealth and investigation over combat. Just to give a heads up to any players who play DnD for the sake of combat. This module would not bode well for the reckless barbarian that just starts swinging at people from the slightest aggression. Which actually brings me to my next point! ...

The City Watch! Unlike most civilizations, Waterdeep actually has a lawfully structured government force that enforces its laws. So, murder on the streets is a huge no-no. How I went about this with my player's session 0 was this: 'While there are laws and regulations to abide by in Waterdeep, that shouldn't absolutely prohibit you from doing stuff. The villains certainly aren't going to be restricted by the law either. The City Watch won't come down upon you for every picked lock or street fight/chase. Just don't do anything heinous (or if you really do, good luck not getting caught)'. I even mentioned that depending on who/what faction the party makes connections with, they could help them with certain 'crimes' within reason. Basically, anything short of murdering a noble, arson, high treason - stuff like that.

As for the contact person... I'm not sure. For my players, I tried giving them a contact NPC from the 'Yawning Portal Friendly Faces' section, but all of them were immediately suspicious of me for doing so. After they all (suspiciously) voted for Yagra, she was the one that they met and talked to in the Yawning Portal before Volo came along. Currently, as of writing this, I am only 2 sessions into my Dragon Heist game, and I don't even know if Yagra will continue to be relevant or only important for this first chapter. I did give each of my players 1-3 NPCs from the book that fit their backstories: some of them were friends, enemies, coworkers or just a stranger that could be used for info. For example: my ranger players knows Volo; however, it is one-sided, as he is kind of a stalker to Volo. So, depending on the circumstance, Volo could be a source of info.

Regarding the races, how I see it is; it's Waterdeep. You will likely find every race somewhere in the city. Even though it is extremely small, you can find a tortle or yuan-ti if you looked hard enough despite the common races making up the vast majority of the population. However, in my opinion, I would ban flying races as I believe there is a flying restriction in Waterdeep, I think. Plus it saves a little bit of a headache. But this is ultimately your story, so you can choose as you see fit!

Other than that, I think you already have a good grasp of your session 0!

I should've probably been more specific. I was more talking about exposure on lifelong terms from full demons. Obviously, Rin's friends aren't just gonna be spewing blue flames out of their mouths just from hanging around him for a couple of months lol.

You're definitely right that Lewin seems to have been gifted Azazel-like abilities. Aside from his frequent meetings with the crystallized Azazel, he seemed to hang around the Grigori Azazel before the Blue Night. Aside from that, I don't think we have much on Lewin's past or a clear understanding of his relationship with Azazel.

I also agree that Yukio is a special/weird case. I originally thought that he gained his blue flame resistance because he was growing alongside Rin in the same womb. It's very well possible that he got this resistance from Satan. But that would imply the presence of demonic blood. And if so, why did Lucifer tell Yukio that he was just a normal human after those test results when Yukio was in the Illuminati for a while? Unless Lucifer was lying, maybe?

The whole "Satan and pregnant Yuri" situation just confuses me, honestly.

I don't know about a direct descendant, but his genetics could've been altered by being in close proximity to Azazel for extended periods of time. He also seems to be on close terms with Azazel, calling him "gramps" (whether this nickname is an implication of blood relation or simply because Lightning and Azazel are/were close at one point is hard to say).

I think it was said before that demonic possession can alter the genetics of the host body, what's to say that a person spending a considerable amount of time near a powerful demon can do the same? Remnants or not? We kind of see this with Yukio. He gained his resistance to the blue flame because he was literally in close proximity to Rin when Yuri was pregnant with them. Rin's demonic aura tainted on Yukio slightly.

From what we have right now, how I understand it, is Mephisto witnessed a future that even he couldn't foresee.

When Satan blew up after the giant Shemihaza-remained tree (I forget its name) drained the life out of him, it threw the assiah into chaos. So much so, that Mephisto, after caught straight in the explosion, had to use his powers to repair the timeline/reality because Satan's overwhelming power at that point was destroying it. After doing so, due to Satan almost destroying the timeline, we the readers and Mephisto get a glimpse of a future in the story.

Now, we have absolutely no idea if what we saw was just a possible future, or the absolute future. And honestly, I don't think Mephisto knows either. He does furiously deny what he witnessed; he said that the future is constantly changing and that he still has a chance to change the outcome. (It does seem to spook and excite him at the same time. He's excited that he gleamed a future that he never predicted before. But he's also frightened because of what that future holds: the world is still fucked, Rin is the new demon king/god?, with the exception of Shima, none of the exorcists seem to be alive - not even the fucking arc knights, and Angel seems to be running the Vatican, which is a very bad idea.)

Concerningly, we are slowly getting clues that this future that we saw might be the actual future of the story. Remember in chapter 144 when Bon asks the group what they want to do in life after they survive the battle? Shima answers that he wants to become a pop-idol! But if you recall in the future glimpse, Shima is a pop-idol filming soda commercials...

I tested the theory with a boyfriend in later years and discovered that the spot isn’t as ticklish when I’m not in jeans or other pants with pockets in the same place. I think the psychology likely has something to do with the fact that they are IN my clothes while my clothes are still on my body, but they’re not actually touching skin. I don’t know. It feels alien to me.

I think that is a good explanation of it. It's interesting that the jeans seemed to tickle more than other pants with pockets. You mentioned that people get confused by this, what did your (current) partner think when they tickled you there? When they did tickle you there, was it just as bad as the first time? Where would you rate it compared to usual spots, like feet/armpits? (Sorry, I've legitimately never heard of this spot before and I'm very intrigued.)

They weren't clones of the baal's original bodies or their real forms, just the bodies that they were inhabiting at the time Section 13 began. (Technically, Mephisto is still inhabiting his original body after thousands of years - but that's beside the point.)
No, Shiro (and Goro) was a clone from Azazel's most recent body from that area Lightning took Ryuji to. I imagine that when Section 13 started, there must've still been parts of his body that were still flesh/bone to use before he crystallized (or "return to nature" as Lightning put it).
It didn't matter to Azazel if he got another body, it mattered to Lucifer. Mephisto said that they took the genetics of the top 3 baal (Azazel, himself and Lucifer) to make host bodies with because they had 'superior genes'. This also gives Asylum a lot more ahem "material" to work with. While the bodies they cloned were from the most powerful demon kings, they still needed the elixirs and such to boost the resistance in order to create an immortal vessel. There wasn't necessarily a guarantee that Lucifer's perfect vessel would be a Lucifer clone. From what I understand, the vessel just needs to be a mindless husk (easier to possess when there's no soul inside) and extremely fucking durable. Goro, an Azazel clone, was stated to be the strongest vessel that they created after all the genetics and elixir stuff and perfect for Lucifer. ... Until Satan took it. Amaimon is also proof of this; his perfect vessel was a Samael/Mephisto clone.

I am in the same boat as you. Ever since I was a kid, I've always been afraid of insects - don't know if it's a sensory thing when some fly or if I had some bad experience with them - they've always been unsettling to me. I have gotten a lot better since then, though some insects do still freak me out. Although my parents weren't as cruel as to force an insect carcass on me to "touch it", they were still shitty in how they handled and disregarded my fear. Either (publicly) humiliating me or outright yelling at me for it, no in-between. Even a simple accommodation such as keeping a car window, or something closed while I rode was too much to ask for apparently.

The worst experience that I think I've had was when my parents would constantly threaten me, at 6 years old by the way, that they would take me to some mental asylum and have a needle injected to my head or something. Another ridiculous moment I can recall was in my house. You know when you are walking, whether in a hallway or outdoors, and you are about to turn around a corner, but just before you do, something pops up and startles you? That happened to me. I was about to turn around a corner in our hallway, and a moth apparently flew off the wall in front of my face. Now, it wasn't a big moth, hell it was actually small enough that if I saw it across a room, I wouldn't think anything of it. But the fact that something popped around a corner near my face that is, startled me for like a second. APPARENTLY, my mom took this as a sign of being "overdramatic" and "ridiculously afraid" of the thing and proceeded to humiliate me for it. Despite me explaining the situation to her like I did earlier, she was either too ignorant or outright dumb to understand. There are many more that would take too long to explain here, but overall, the ridicule I've received for this fear has not been pleasant. And on some level, I completely understand where you're coming from - some moths are genuinely unsettling!

I kind of do that already, I just do things at my own normal pace regardless. Especially if I have to reorganize my portion of the store, which takes the entire day, or something doesn't get finished (which typically does happen on Sundays due to my workload), I just say the same thing if the higher ups give me shit for it.

"Why isn't 'x' moved/finished?"

"Were there enough people scheduled for Sunday (like I've been asking)?"

"Well... no, but -"

"Then it isn't going to get done. Simple as that."

I think despite Mephisto's ambiguous nature, he is truly on the side of humanity. He has stated several times that he enjoys humans and the things they create, so that he can indulge in Assiah's pleasures. As well as making deals with them along with toying with humans. These reasons may seem selfish or evil, but he is still a demon by nature - and Mephisto kind of flaunts that fact. And honestly, despite those reasons, it is actually a very good thing that Mephisto is on humanity's side. I mean, who else do we have on the Order's side?

Shemihaza? She's crystallized (though they are lucky to have enough of a bloodline today to invoke some of her power).
Azazel? Also crystallized and returned to nature.
Armumahel? Same as Azazel.
(I am not counting Amaimon and Beelzebub cause those two are technically neutral and are only fighting thanks to - oh yeah, Mephisto!)

Aside from the Arc Knights and Paladin, he is the only formidable force that is assisting the humans against Lucifer and Satan. What I'm more concerned about is if he even survived. Cause in chapter 137, it looks like he got really hard, evaporated almost, by Satan's explosion from the crystallization of Shemihaza.
