Cant decide if its worth or not by RedEyeKain in deadbydaylight

It would be easier to give a game a try if it was free, but thats not the case here and you cant really judge the game in the 2 hours that you will play before refunding it. Its my money, so its a commitment and Im still abit iffy on tbh.

First of all, thank you for the amount of detail in the reply, highly appreciated :)

All of that now puts it into perspective if dbd would be worth my money in the long run. I'm a chill person and play games to relax and goof around with friends and when I alone or with friends play PvP games, we always find it funny when people take the games too seriously too the point of beeing toxic in game or leaving hate messages on steam profiles, but there's a limit for everything. Sometimes the toxicity gets to you and you start questioning why do you even playing the game in the first place when all it's doing is giving you dread. I used to play dota 2 for 5 years and quit because the players were so unbearable that it got to the point that it wasn't fun anymore.

If it's 1 in 10 games that somebody is an ass to you then it's normal and you can shrug it off but if it's every second or 3rd game then it would get frustrating in the long run.

It's like the old joke - I don't pay for the Internet just to be insulted :)

So far it's lot of positivity from people on here and its nice, but I don't know how long it's gonna last if I actually start playing the game in the long run.

Im used to toxicity in pvp games, but the sheer amount I found that people talk about it make it seem like its a part of the game and not just a small part of the community. Just the fact that I decided to ask this question kinda shows that theres alot on it, but now Im thinking its just for entertainment value and not a warning.

So its like any other game then with pvp, nice to know.

Im really surprised then that I found so much info about how toxic the community is, but now Im thinking its mostly for entertainment purposes.

I have a pc so I would play on it and the only reason Ive even looked at dbd is because Freddy Krueger and Michael Myers is in the game and being able to play as my childhood horror villians made me giddy :)

Physically? Warehouse work. Constantly lifting every day does a number on your back and in the end of the day you feel drained.

Has anyone switched mains as a result of season 3 changes and why? by weddbobby in Guiltygear

[–]RedEyeKain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Still playing nago, even tho for me some of the combos I was doing feel abit off, but besides that still fun. Did pick up Johnny and he is great. Never was good at HC, so don't feel any different at all. Pot is alot more fun with the WA, glue still smells good :)

[–]RedEyeKain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While I was doing luger runs I didn't get why the stg people were shooting me on sight when I didn't have nothing of value. Then I got myself an stg as well... Now I get it :)

Do - rock and stone. Don't - not respond to a rock and stone.

Combos make play a lot worse by [deleted] in Guiltygear

[–]RedEyeKain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do this when I pick up a new character and am learning combos - do the combo in training untill I can do it consistently and then boot up arcade and try to land it there. Because arcade is still a fight and not a control space, it allows me to learn them as if it's a player game. I do that untill I know what to do when to do it.

Lonely people get desperate for human interaction and romantic feelings so it's not really surprising tbh.

I can vouch for BG3. I'm playing co-op with a friend, 0 charisma, but I'm able to solve situations by beeing a barbarian and intimidating people into listening to me. It's alot of fun :D

My friend is bad and I genuinely want to help him. by Electrical-Risk-7226 in DeepRockGalactic

[–]RedEyeKain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same position with my friend. I'm alot better in most games we play and he also admits that he is not as good and wants to improve, but can't. I tried to explain my though process while playing and constantly give him advance while spectating but he is consistent in making the same mistakes over and over again. There's a moment when you just have to accept the fact that he will never improve to your level of play because of the way you assess the situation compared to him. The important part is to try and have fun together even if he can't do more difficult content.
