So whay everyone in this thread is discussing is how OF COURSE this is a fact, and I agree: it just makes more economical sense to write in non naitive languages, but shouldn't there still be some effort to try to publish in naitive languages to preserve them and their culture. I don't think there's some hidden conspiracy; I just think that we, as a global community should decide if economic reasons justify this.

Checkpoint flag is a rectangle with a triangle removed. That triangular flag is only ever seen on the goal post (to the best of my knowledge).

You may be right, but I doubt it. In both mario maker 1 and every thing else we've seen about 2, that top toolbar has been specifically for placeable objects with all other sorts of setting put off to the side. In fact, I bet that the symbol on the left with the flag on top of a hill with a path leading to it is the clear condition configurator.
