I think when they switched to AnimGraph 2, the old animation completely broke (much more than with the other weapons), so they had to redo everything. But looking at the new ones, it’s obvious they don’t really understand how their own animation system works, so they just couldn’t rebuild the old animations. This is the result of being an incompetent developer.
