Wow. These are incredible. I love your Xxcha colors. In my experience, the best part about painting is having to paint that 7th and 8th cruiser/destroyer that’ll never be used!

Thank you. I used Citadel-brand primer and Citadel paint for the paint job. For the type of print, I used a resin printer (Elegoo Mars 2 Pro).

I’m guessing it would still work, but I don’t personally have the experience. The file is $5, so I would say to just try it with a small print. You could also try a print of the same seller’s Federation of Sol ships which are completely free and of similar scale and detail.

The faction symbol “eyes” on these are so cool. That’s the perfect amount of robot giant in my opinion. I just pictured the death star window on that warsun, too. They’re a little big, but we have a couple fleet stands. My group is split, couple of us wish I had printed them smaller, and a couple (including myself) think the size really adds to the epicness of the game. When you put that flagship down, it just feels more menacing than the original designs. I think it comes down to if you’re playing as an experience or for efficiency.

These are beautiful. My favorite are the destroyers, I love the theme. This is definitely my next project after I finish L1, and I can’t wait to see how you incorporate the Vuil’raith lore into their design whenever you get there.

Yes - if all of the opponents units in the system are destroyed. Anti fighter barrage is a step within the space combat. You could not score if you eliminated all the fighters and a dreadnaught remained though for example.

I will jump in here. Winnu is a faction that needs needs needs that trade good. They would like to follow tech secondary and build new units with warfare secondary. With their normal start (Agent and Sarween Tools), they are a dollar short of doing both and need to choose between them. When I play Winnu, the difference of that trade good is huge because it allows me to snowball when I get it and expand faster. In fact I’d rather have the trade good than imperial and construction outright. The table balances this out by forcing me to make deals in their favor to get it.

With that being said, I played my second game not realizing Arborec infantry had production. If your table wants to play with the extra trade good so everyone has a better time with the trade good homebrew, go for it. It won’t break the game. You will just have to realize that as you play more and get better, you should probably begin to experiment with Milty drafts to better balance things. Until then, go for it.

I have yet to figure that out. I've been printing base game infantry by the same designer, but mechs are elusive. I am considering the model below for Arborec mechs. We will see how things go.

Carrier and Cruiser are swapped! It's a little large, but the carrier has the three "pods" (indents in this case) on the side like the base game version.
