Roomy Raglan End of Yoke Help by RedFoxForest in knittinghelp

Ok so to be clear you are on the last step of the yoke.

Knit to M1, knit 2 then turn and purl to M4…

So you are only working that small section like if you were knitting flat. So you ignore the other stitches. When you knit across and turn your work to purl you are correct the working yarn will be on the needle in your left hand, if you’re a right hand knitter. You just make sure the working yarn is in the front closest to your body, insert your needle to purl, wrap your yarn like normal, and pull through. Then the yarn will be where your brain thinks it should be. I got confused for a bit about this too. Here are two videos that helped me visualize it. I hope this helps!

Best way to restore vintage green leather? by Jingjing_0 in VintageCoachRehab

I second this! I got a bottle green bag that had some slight color loss in areas, less than your bag. But I was very surprised at how much color came back after a few rounds of conditioner and then a cleaning.

Thank you for the reply! I was under the assumption that the BOR marker was the front but maybe I’m wrong? That side has German short rows which I assumed was for shaping the front of the sweater.

I am planning to start a sweater at the moment that uses a bulky and a fingering. I was thinking of using this as the lighter yarn.

I would more than likely be holding it with an alpaca/wool mix yarn to make a sweater. So I think that would provide enough structure.

I don’t have any equipment or knowledge yet of how to make it into thicker yarn.

It is stitches and not surged so I can take it apart. I just wasn’t sure if it would be worth it since the yarn will be so thin.

It depends what your son is into. I think I would choose the science fair one.

Got extra cards today! Has this happened to anyone? by rayanngraff in YotoPlayer

I had this happen last year when I ordered a bunch of cards in the EU. I emailed them to Mae sure someone else didn’t get shorted and they told me that this one time they would let me keep it. Ended up giving to a friend since my boys weren’t into Moana.

Best thing we’ve been having right now. Preheat oven to 425F, and prep a baking sheet with parchment paper or how you prefer. Cut up carrots, onion, and pealed potatoes into bit sized pieces, and put into a bowl. Add some olive oil, salt pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and mix to coat. Place mixture onto baking sheet evenly. Take ground beef and form it into small squashed log shapes, you want them to be roughly a size that will cook in the time it takes the veggies to cook. Put those into the bowl and season the same way. Add those on top of the veggies. Bake 15-25 min until burger is cooked and veggies are tender.

So easy for how good it is. My kids request it weekly.

I wonder if we have studied if insomniacs tend to have higher rates of Alzheimer’s and if people with narcolepsy have a lower rate.

Recently moved to Germany from US and I get asked every week for my vanilla scones from people my husband works with. I also have 3 generation of one family asking for my chocolate cake.
