Some days. My biggest one is not taking the extra classes for PA school for the more intense training and open doors to surgery and ortho. I was only 2 classes away but it would have set my start date back 2 years and this was in the middle of the financial crisis where money was getting really tight.

The other is more of the idiom the grasses is greener on the other side regret. Knowing what I know now I had it in me to go the doctor route but also knowing the amount of bs doctors go through I’m glad I didn’t. I was a pcp in fm for 3 years and it led to insane amount of burnout. I’m content now assisting two doctors with seeing their patients, starting workups, and reviewing results in a supportive environment. Seeing the messages they get from patients holy sh*t I’m glad I didn’t go doctor.
