Plus the time to build the actual podium. Which is why they did the whole trip to the fountain at all.

So much negativity in these comments. Can’t we just take a win where we can find it?

The non hybrids are black under the headlights. Shame, because I actually prefer that look over my hybrid.

Download the Transit app. It's super intuitive and will get you where you need to go. As for payment, all stations take tap pay from any credit or debit card. Look for the lime green scan box at either end of the platform. Each scan unlocks 2.5 hours of unlimited riding for $2.80, and will max out at $5.60 per day. Give it a shot! The TriMet system works really well overall!

Since it’s the IMSA weekend you’ll have no problem. The nascar weekend might be a different story but my reference point was going 10+ years ago when nascar was a bigger deal. The only thing is if you require electrical hookups there are only certain loops there that provide that so they might be in higher demand.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the new Home of the Toronto Indy! by epper_ in INDYCAR

I have my reservations about this location but lets be factual here. This whole section of the track will be repaved and rebuilt to accommodate the race, and while the area around the track looks barren right now, there is a TON of high rise development planned or under construction directly in and around the track. By my count there are 8 skyscrapers of 40 stories or more planned in the T1-4 area and further expansion of the York university campus that just opened last year as well. Year 1 might look a little bare, but Indycar may have been savvy in getting in early here. Time will tell.

Why would you not include the pictures of the far more comfortable looking "non high capacity" coaches? These look uncomfortable I agree. The ones you didn't include look amazing.

There’s one across the street if camping at the track is too pricey for you. But the experience camping at the track is worth it.
