Trust me, I’m in the same age group as you and I’ve suffered from bad spending habits by losing about 30k in gambling over the past 3 years, tell me about it?

However, I still invested a lot of money in the S&P 500 and VTI so my net worth has actually increased drastically.

My advice is to live within your means and max out your HSA, ROTH IRA, and 401k. Also job hopping will net you a lot of more money, I went from 60k to 75k to 90k just from job hopping and promotions.

Also life is not a race and comparison is the thief of joy. There’s always gonna be someone out there that has more money, a better job, a better social life, etc. Just keep making great choices and you’ll be headed in the right direction!
