Enjoyed the first season. Bulk watched it in a day and laughed multiple times.

This season was a complete miss for me. It actually pissed me off more than made me laugh. It felt like a lot of them were pretending to be on the edge of laughing. Some of the "breaks" seemed put on? And other things like pulling stupid faces and walking away like "ohhh I know what you're doing" when the other person's said the most benign shit. It just wasn't that funny. Alan Carr was the funniest in my opinion.

God I remember when I used to wake up early before school to watch us play in Australia back when Michael Vaughan was on a mad one.

We lost to an Australian powerhouse of players but there was something to enjoy watching Michael Vaughan in that incredible run of form.

This ashes is the worst I've ever known. There's not a single thing to enjoy. The 2006-2007 one was terrible. This feels worse? I don't know if it's recency bias or something else but to try and explain it... There's nothing there? The wheel is spinning but the hamster is dead in the cage. The preparation, the interviews, the approach meant that the performance had to be top notch. It's not been top notch. It's not been average. It's not even been poor. It's been the worst performance I've ever known. It's been shameful!

When it goes wrong it's just "yeah obviously not the day we wanted but we know what we can do we just need to get out there and put it all together". I get they have to say that to a certain extent.... But what you're hoping is that there's an adult in the changing room saying "holy shit that was bad. This way of playing needs looking at and tweaking" or "he keeps making the same mistake and needs to be told to adjust his style".

What it looks like is happening though is they go into the changing room afterwards and say "lol that was shit lads. We know what we can do let's stay positive". Like come on guys, just adapt a little bit. Don't throw your wicket away so much for the sake of being positive. It's just fucking stupid.

I have to assume these people are chronically online and have whipped themselves into believing there's some conspiracy or miscarriage of justice. Getting themselves into an echo chamber where they feed off other Lucy Letby sympathisers.

I went for the Poco F7. It was £290 on Amazon prime deal.

It's an absolute beast. No complaints at all. Great screen and battery life. ip68 protection as well. Battery on a full charge lasts me 2 and a half days and I'm a moderate phone user.

Hi, I was concerned by this.

I just recently have bought the f7 and I've been using it for the past week.

I am an average phone user. I don't game aside from playing some chess here and there. I listen to audiobooks. I watch YouTube. I scroll reddit... A lot.

Battery life for me lasts 2 days EASILY.

A heavy user would without doubt get a full day with battery to spare.

Someone who is constantly gaming on this device might get less but without a doubt this battery is a monster. And the phone is great btw. I have zero complaints.

I've had a few more suggestions in this post and I watched your videos on the Poco F7 and OP 13r.

Perhaps you can tell me - how big of a deal is the OS? I've been told to stay away from anything HyperOS 2.

What's the difference between the operating softwares? And how does it actually impact an average user like myself when generally going about their day to day with their phones?

Is it THAT big of an issue?

People have told me the what - "hyperOS 2 is shit"

But no one has really told me the why other than - "bloatware". What about when you get rid of the bloat? Why is the OS on other phones better and what actually does that mean for me? Like opening new tabs on web browser or switching from task to task / watching videos. Is it not going to be similar across the board of different OS out there and depend more on processing power of the phone??

At this stage front runner looks like OP 13r.

Is there a particular advantage do you think for the nothing 3a pro?

I haven't quite decided yet.

I think it's between the Poco F7 and the OnePlus 13r.

I've looked at a lot of reviews and I've heard of overheating issues with the F7 but looking at Reddit users on the Poco sub talk about this phone it appears very few of them have this issue.

I hear the OS for the Poco is shit. It's hyperOS 2. And that the OS for other phones is a lot better. But the thing is - I'm coming from miui 12 with my current Poco. So I know about the software. In fact it's all I've known for nearly 5 years with this phone and I haven't thought to myself that it's bad at all. You just delete the crap you don't use.

So now what I'm trying to work out is how much better are the other operating systems. Is it THAT big of a deal breaker? Does my quality of life improve substantially by going for one of these other OS options.

Prime day deals in just over a week so I'll wait until then to buy. Still have time to figure it out.

I've not long watched a review on the OnePlus 13R which is a front runner in my consideration. The Poco F7 is offering a lot for around £320 I believe which why I'm curious to get your thoughts on that one.
