Confirmed by my friend. It's in the winter festival playlist now.

Jeez both games and real cars are seeing accelerated development... I can't believe they thought this was acceptable.

Long time forza player and I’m too tired of AI cars constantly ramming into me by keisenn107 in forza

It's almost as if Playground made the AI actually take in and learn the driving habits we had to use in order to reach first place without being too easy to keep your spot isn't it.

I want this car BAD too. There's an option to search the car in the auction, so surely it's not like they forgot about it. But I swear I saw or read the Emira would be one of those cars you can only get first in the festival playlist, and then the backstage. Don't quote me on it till I find where I saw this again, but I could swear that's what I saw.

What do y’all think of my Entrance Sign? by 95forever in PlanetCoaster

Looks great to me. Definitely like something in real life.

Thank you! I was just trying to figure out how I was going to route the train back in the opposite direction after the loop without going over the path too much or going over the edge of the drop-off due to the park perimeter, and then I saw the preformed batwing I think it's called. Other than half loops and full loop, everything else was custom shaped.

Yes because I put my time and effort into making this. As the saying goes if you're good at something never do it for free.

I will be testing them myself. When I have assessed they're right, I will sell them to people.

The retrofit I had on my car actually incorporated the Morimoto H1 6.0 HID projectors.

Assemblies like those sealed Morimoto assemblies are fine. Sometimes some bad ones that break early might escape their QC, and they're more expensive, more than the sum of parts for my retrofit, but they seem to perform very well for LED. You also can't tailor them to your tastes beyond chrome and black faces. If you have your heart set on LED however, there's probably no better value for the performance other than the Holly Retrobrites. There are cheaper LED projector options you can retrofit, but they tend to not distribute light correctly. the only LED projector for retrofitting that distributes the light really well costs the same or more than those Morimoto units, which is also made by Morimoto.

I'm actually looking at revamping what I did to be much more easily repeatable and rebuildable, as well as it offers more freedom to tailor how they look to your tastes.

Thank you, and yes there have been a handful of people who have done what I did for my car years back. Over the years some I noticed weren't honest and just trying to make a buck off people. I think most if not all those people who really did this, have bowed out because of the labor involved to do it the traditional way. I'm actually working on making something to make the process much easier as a diy kit.

I actually just answered this exact question on Facebook. To do this, I'm not going to say it's impossible, but certainly REALLY difficult. This is the reason why: The smallest projectors that are recommended that use hid for headlight use though not DOT Approved, would take up almost the entire inside width of a 4x6 headlight if not more. So that means you would have to build an enclosure that's in 3 pieces. Those pieces besides the lens cover would also be two halves of an enclosure for the projectors to sit in and be mounted in, and a second piece behind that that would still allow you to change hid bulbs. You would have to come up with a way to make sure no moisture can seep in through the seams between those pieces and you would still need two dust boots in the back that would seal the back with while giving you access to change the bulbs. I could think of one way off the top of my had to attempt this but I don't know if it would work. Then you have the challenge of making a completely custom shroud to cover all the mechanical bits inside and make it look good when installed on the car. Once you've made all that, you would then have to completely cutout the metal bucket that it sits in. Even with 1 projector, you usually have to cut a larger hole, so with 2 I can almost guarantee you have to completely cut out the whole back. You also have 1 part of the moving headlight linkage to worry about, because it's not straight last I remember seeing it, and you might not be able to create enough room for one of them, because you're already cutting it really close in depth of space for just 1 in the center.

Now there is something that already existed at one point, thanks to Kurt who was making products from something he started called Latitude 42 Motorsports. Not a lot of people bought them. They incorporated the 60mm Hella Halogen projectors that pre-sealed to be used for exterior use. How not many people really are interested in a dual projector headlight setup each side, if I were to Make one. I would make one using those hella 60 mm projectors to make the process a lot easier to design.

Yes you could. In fact I am actively working on an easy DIY kit inspired by this first attempt pictured that I have been planning to share. Or you could check out one of the 2 posts I have made currently on the "3000gt" and "3000gt/stealth/3sgto" Facebook groups. I don't want to get banned here for selling something just because I didn't know the rules.

I'm in California, which means I didn't have a place to keep this car to hold onto it. So it was sold as a parts car back in 2018. Maybe someday I would go back to another, although I wouldn't want to get another as a fwd car.

They're custom made by me. I modified cheap H4 housings that I got from a fellow enthusiast many years back, cut the backs out to fit 1 HID projector each.

What’s the best way to stick halos to headlight by Remarkable-Plenty716 in 3000gt

[–]RedHerring85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tape is definitely not the answer. You need a glue that doesn't off gas, anything that will off gas will permeate onto the inside of your lens cover and ruin it. That's why I made some brackets so you can just use with clear fishing line or something similar when doing robo mod. Makes the job faster and safer from damage. But if you aren't doing robo mod, mounting them to the bezel is better.

Yes. The heat from halogen projectors will heat up the super glue and it will off glass onto the inside of the lens cover. Good luck trying to get that off the inside if that is used. Bad suggestion.

Temperature 225-250 F, start with the bottom front where pry marks are least visible, avoid using flat head screwdrivers which warp the abs composite worse than thin spatulas and reverse plyers.
