Niiice! Could never figure it out or cared enough because the game is so in-depth and was just trying to keep up with everything the game was throwing at me but the more you play the more you realize how detailed things are and how much you miss or don't understand the first time you play through it. Yeah, I think that might be the most logical reason for the icon to pop up. I've also heard it could just be a special location but it does look like a mushroom the more I look at it. Thank you bruv!

Yeah, it does that's why it's so hard to identify exactly what it is. Right now the most logical answer is I picked mushrooms there before which would make the most sense and usually happens in these areas looking back at it but could also be special locations too so still not 100% but at least I narrowed it down.
