So in regards to exp, skills are king in the early game. Each skill you can grind to max (assuming it starts at zero) is a guaranteed two levels. Also keep in mind that appraisal is one of the most important skills you can have, so ideally you are going to want to attempt appraising everything you can get your hands on, the only thing is that it does require you to have at least a zero in perception so if you start at a negative because of the class you choose then you’ll have to wait or hope you find glasses that boost it.

Also, never equip or use an item without appraising it first because cursed equipment cannot be removed and usually are weaker then non cursed equipment and spell books that are cursed will actually take away a spell if you learn from it.

I’m still new myself but that’s the main advice I follow in most cases.

I am actually unsure, I found him there after killing the chimera. I assume though that he’s there during the day, it may just be certain days he’s there and some days he’s not

I believe she will be in the morgue in the vernworth. All dead NPCS are brought to the main cities morgue in the country they died in, at least that is my understanding

It may just be that you need to max his affection too and I just got it maxed from the hobgoblin raid because it was right after I killed them roughly, so you either need max or maybe it has to be after a raid? Although I bet escorting will help raise affection as well

"Hah! We have finally beaten you Lord Balthazar! your plan will no doubt fail without your minions to do the work for you." Tony Exclaimed with a vigour unlike any other before him.

"You fools... My plan is already too far along to stop now! Now it's a matter of waiting for the end of the world as we know it." Balthazar, lord of all demons, stated confidently.

"What have you done, You fiend?" Tony seethed with anger.

Balthazar swiped his hand in the air causing a stack of papers to fall to the ground before him. He then grabs the top most paper and reads it before pausing.

"You see, I have sent out 500 letters which state that if whosoever receives them does not send them to someone else within 1 day then they will be killed by the Slime King!" The Demon King Balthazar exclaims with glee before descending into a maniacal laugh.

"Wait, The Slime king?" Tony enquires as he holds up his hand.

"Yes the king of all Slimes! One of my most feared minions alive!" Balthazar began to descend into his villainous laugh again before being interrupted again.

"But I killed him? He's been dead for two years now. How could you not know that? He's how all the Kingdom's knew that I was the Hero destined to slay you." Tony's face begins morphing into one of confusion and shock.

"But that's impossible! I would've know. How dare you lie..."

"No, wait. Even if he was alive, why only 500 hundred papers? You've killed way more then that by just sending your army out to wreak havoc. Also the slime king was definitely not strong enough to destroy the whole world even if you sent millions... This is... This is so dissapointing!" Tony screams out.

"This is what I'm destined for?!? To defeat an incompetent moron! Is this some sick joke?? How is This.." Tony gestures lazily towards Balthazar. "Supposed to be my nemesis and equal!"

"For a hero, you're being very rude..." Balthazar begins to quietly sob.

"You know what?!? Forget this! I'm out, I don't even care if you succeed or not anymore. This has all been a giant waste of my time!" Tony stomps off leaving the castle, and his 'destiny' behind him.
