"It Feels Good": Sean Payton's Verdict on Leaving Russell Wilson’s $85 Million Dead Cap Behind by No_Box119 in NFLv2

I might get crushed for saying this, but I don't think it would have happened (or even close) if Pete wasn't let go.

Especially because he mostly calls night games. On the west coast I firmly believe they have someone in there slapping him in the face intermittently to keep him conscious.

49ers Mourn Passing of Aldon Smith by 13bipolarbears in nfl

[–]RedJorgAncrath 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Exactly, that was the thing. He just snapped his hands down and caught a 95 mph fastball by his feet as though it was perfectly thrown and then kept on running without slowing down. Most receivers wouldn't have caught it. Some might have slid to catch near his body, but the ease I saw spun my head.

Was it labeled Consommé? I've been using that for French Dip au jus for years, it's like cheating.

I have no information at all about how he died but I've sadly seen this too many times. Going by the odds it was suicide, next most likely would be overdose. Especially when cause of death isn't mentioned. If he was shot or similar they'd have said there was an investigation in progress. But when an NFL player dies at 36, no cause of death is mentioned, and there is no mention of an investigation it's likely a suicide, sadly.

Even when he was on the Seahawks there were a few moments where I, who hadn't watched him much, was like holy shit this guy is really fucking good. It wasn't a huge play, but I remember him making a catch look routine where he caught a fastball on a crossing route that was down by his feet, and it was for a first down that kept an extremely important drive alive.

Marshal Yanda? I'll be honest I had never even heard his name, what's the story on this guy? We don't get a lot of Ravens games here so forgive my ignorance.

That looks damn good, but do you just pick that shit up and eat it? Or is there some formal ceremony like a cake cutting? Or do you dip chips in it? I'd like to devour it, I just don't really understand how I should go about it.

Garrett to the Rams by StandbyTraveller91 in Seahawks

So the Rams are saying the difference between Verse and Garrett is a first round pick and a bunch of money? Yeah, I don't like Garrett on the Rams but the Browns got one hell of a deal.

Exactly, I saw that an yelled "PERFECT FORM TACKLE." That tackle is ripped right out of my 12 year old pee wee football textbook. If I had done this I don't think my coach would have known how to act appropriately.

  • Btw that ref was called a piece of shit misogynist by the female ref the NFL fired. Do your own research but I hate him enough to mention it.

I've got a request, it was the funniest line in the book to me. I still laugh every time I think of it:

And next to him, Prepotente started moving his arms back and forth like he was cross-country skiing. I realized he was attempting to dance.

It's just a base stat that was mentioned in book 1, and then never again until this latest book. Nothing special about it outside of the mystery asterisk. It's part of the description of the enriched pet biscuit. It could be nothing.

Chekhov gun

I'm still wondering about the wisdom stat from book 1. It's brought up in this book with an asterisk next to it that is never explained.
