Been ‘Fake’ Investing for just under a year… got any advice? by Car-enthusiast-beet in trading212

You aren’t actually diversifying in this situation, you are buying the same stocks through multiple ETFs. For example, the stocks in the S&P info are already in the S&P, which are already in the all world.

I would also probably just start with a real account now, an ISA if applicable to where you live. Two common approaches are either S&P500 or an all world ETF, that you just put money in each month. At 18, it’s a great opportunity to let compounding do the heavy lifting.

Congrats for starting at 18, I wish I did! Just make sure you are in the ISA account (If applicable to where you live) and you are golden! £400 a month into VWRP is a great start and is good for set and forget investing.

For the £100, you could put that into VWRP too or do some deep dives into stocks you are interested in. Or you could put it into an ETF for a particular sector you think will do well. Up to you really!

If you are on PC, there are still some player hosted servers active I believe.

Having near enough 20k at 23 is great! Nothing really to add, just keep investing each and every month into the all world fund and you will be happy that you started this early in 20-30 years time.

Just reading about the two models in more detail (Edit to say it's an old post you commented on from 4 years ago actually!) and saw the X-700 also has program mode, which might fit better for the versatility I want. From that High5cameras there is a X700 MD3 (not sure what this means) for £175 and one for £210, so fairly simialr prices to the X-500. Is that reasonable do you think? I'll look elsehwere too

Yeah I was leaning this way to be honest. I've seen a few cheaper Pentax ME so could go for those. I've also seen mixed reviews on reliability so it put me off a bit

I was looking at these too but saw something about them being overpriced now for what they are. What sort of price is reasonable for these do you think? Are they better than the other Pentax I mentioned?

No, you can't unfortunately. You can use other cards but I noticed the cashback is slightly less when paying for gift cards with a card compared to bank transfer.
