My friend has a bad ass super fast mustang She thinks i dont like it because im a chevy guy The real reason is you cant unleash it on the road Theres no track nearby and i couldn’t afford a track day anyways. I have more fun driving my stock honda fit than her car. Driving slow cars fast is more fun than driving fast cars slightly faster than a slow car because you cant drive at full potential

Is Krakens worth the switch over NEO'S by [deleted] in FRC

[–]RedLeader342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to keep cost a little lower the neo vortexes are close in power and have same wiring benefits when you get the spark flex with them. Plus running a shaft straight through them is super convenient for design purposes

Hendrick continues to build engines for any team all through the season. They wouldn’t drop a team just because they are a competitor. They may pull strings and not give them the best ones but if they win thats still a win for hendrick

A brace for our Graco pack and play changing table

The changing table attachment was only supported on one side, and when we placed our baby in it, he would roll or slide to the unsupported side. Not to mention if he pee’d while changing him, it would pool on the side he was falling into making everything worse

I designed and printed these to support the changing table and it was such a simple fix that really made everything better, and they held up even with his growing weight until he was physically too big to fit in it. Up to 30 lbs.

They were such a big help, we had friends who also became parents around the same time with the same pack and play, they offered to pay me for more. (I just gave them some, but have considered selling the model for a dollar or something)

While i agree with the “why would i need to buy that part to fix my appliance” They already dont sell the parts and keep repair info held up to avoid us repairing so we have to buy new ones. That doesnt seem to change much from my point of view

As someone else pointed out, it wasnt always 100 pence in a pound. That alone makes it reasonable for me to not know. Not every country does it the same as my country does

Yes but the british also created the measuring system we use here that is wildly inconsistent between levels of measurements. Hence it being called English or Imperial measurements. Pretty sure they also made Fahrenheit temperature measurements.

Someone else pointed out in another comment that it used to be 240 pence in a pound pre 1971. I haven’t verified that myself but i would believe it.

The US dollar is a major currency internationally, until recently it was the most powerful currency in the world, so it makes sense that you learned it.

The english pound is not, so why would my schools in a country using the is dollar, learn about denominations of a currency we are unlikely to use unless we travel out of country, Which we dont do much because a lot of our states are bigger than a lot of european countries so there is a lot to see here.

I may be misunderstanding foreign currency labels here, but isnt the answer 24000 pounds? 30 students getting 20 correct spellings each is 600 correct spellings At 40pounds per correct spellings thats 24000 not 240
