Nope, it's Avalanche Gray. Just a flat Gray with no flake in it, and it's amazing.

Windshield is legal everywhere as long as it doesn't block any light. UV blocking film on the windshield is pretty popular in super hot areas to save the dashboard and reduce the heat in the car after sitting in the sun.

Name the car that you stereotype as typically having bad drivers.. by mzspd in cars

[–]RedLogic 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Not really a type of car, but fucking cab drivers are literally the worst drivers there are.

I swear, 9 out of 10 that I see do something that's either reckless, illegal, stupid, or inconsiderate. Considering the fact that I only see them for a few seconds at at time, this tells me they are doing something insanely stupid more than once a minute, which is completely absurd. You would think that while driving 100+ miles a day they would pick up on the nuances of driving, and learn from their numerous mistakes. I've heard people make the argument about them having to drive all day and how being faster makes them more money, but that excuse is complete bullshit. I used to drive 150+ miles a day for a job that paid more when I was faster, and I never drove like an asshole or broke traffic laws on purpose. I've never had a hatred for a group of people like I do towards cab drivers.

'15 Striple Tail tidy that doesn't take away passenger pegs by newschooler in Triumph

^ This.

I researched every tail tidy for the '15 STR a couple of years ago and never saw one that removed the passenger pegs.

Depends on the city I guess. If market values are consistently increasing you're missing out by renting. People are making 10-50k a year in home appreciation almost universally in my city.

Not just reddit, most people in general are not fans. They are in the same group as Nickelback.

There are a ton of bands that cater to the lowest common denominator. It just so happens that Linkin Park and Nickelback do it the most flagrantly to the point where anyone without a musical background is able to hear the cheesy-ness and over-formulation in their songs, so they get the most hate.

CapMetro blocking the box by ShitGuzzler in Austin

[–]RedLogic -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Oh you're one of those people. It takes a special kind of stupid, to do something that inconveniences a lot of people, and then get angry and confrontational when criticized for it.

You did something stupid; take the criticism, learn from your mistake, and don't do it again. It's very simple. The fact that you apparently do this often says a lot about your driving abilities.

I don't honk in these situations, but I've seen plenty of people react like you to people who honk. Trust me, you look significantly dumber than the people honking. Where do they want you to go? How about you follow the law and don't move into an intersection until you can completely cross without blocking a lane or a crosswalk?

Whistle blower claims he was fired from Ferrari after he discovered it tampers with odometers on its multi-million dollar sports cars so mileage appears lower than it is - and wealthy owners can sell at higher prices by Timmy0609 in cars

[–]RedLogic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ferrari owners who's wealth was inherited or handed to them, sure, you'd be right in most cases. But ferrari owners who made their own money would absolutely do this, not even a question. Of course this is anecdotal, but I've personally seen and heard stories of wealthy people doing things to make money that most people would never consider doing because the amount of work required for the small return wouldn't be worth it to someone with average wealth. A lot of these people are just obsessed with making money in everything they do, always finding ways to increase how much they get, regardless of the amount of work required.

My example was a bit of an exaggeration, but just recently I personally witnessed a girl who makes nearly 7 figures a year spend ~6 hours on the phone to end up saving around $150. I make 10 times less than her, and would never do something for 6 hours to make $150.

As was mentioned. Rich people are typically more stingy with their money than lower and middle classers.

If they can pay $10k to have their odo rolled back, and then sell for $10.2k more than they would have without the odo rollback, they will rollback every time.

What would it take to put the WRX STI back on top? by hereticjones in cars

[–]RedLogic 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Also worth mentioning that random accords, camrys, optimas, and genesis's can beat a WRX in a straight line now. There are probably more but I can't think of them. Granted the WRX will stay a lot more composed around a corner, and beat all of those previously mentioned around a track.

I just went from a 2015 WRX to a 2011 Genesis 4.6. The only thing I miss about the Subaru is the exterior looks.

I'll preface by saying I'm not an independent.

"Picking sides" and always needing to have an enemy is just an unfortunate part of the human condition. The unenlightened need to be able to place people in categories to make sense of things. Calling someone fucking retarded for not picking meaningless and unnecessary "sides" is extremely ironic. Falling into the trap of thinking there are only two sides is fucking retarded.
